I still don't understand this skewed odds. Barcelona only lost one point more than Real Madrid, but they did so against much weaker opponents. The home field factor will not play a big role and may not even be in favor of Barcelona since they will not be able to play in front of their fans in bus (as they had to do once last season), and in an open game Real will look more dangerous.

I don't sure with Girona have great opportunity for winning La Liga season 2023/24, although their position on top standings under Real Madrid but they have winning mentality and will drop on second half season. Letting players leave a club depends on some factors which include the coach's plans, financial standing, competent replacement, and of course the player's quality. In terms of quality, Luka Modric's performance is not that impressive because of his age. He might not be too strong to give the team the needed support like he used to do when he was younger. The club has a very qualified replacement who is at his best currently, Jude Bellingham is one of the best midfielders in La Liga. No coach will keep such player on the bench for Luka.

Coach Ancelotti has made it clear that Luka is part of his plans, so he is still important to the club. But the truth remains that Luka will only serve as a substitute to Jude. I don't think Real Madrid is going through any financial stress so they can be able to afford his pay. The Croatian has to patiently wait for him to be given chances to feature in games or he could move to another club.

I hope he will give a chance for another player to fill his position. Ancellotti was also rarely putting him into the main squad. This is the fact. I have seen that many times modric was starting from the bench. It proves that if real madrid doesn't really need him again at this moment.
He was good but his age was everything in the football. How long he can still play for manchester united? 5 years or another 10 years? he was only able to play till he will be 40 years old which is very old.
Realmadrid needs to give a chance for the young player instead of extending grandpa's contract. Modric shall also try to consider to retire from the football after his contract with real madrid will end.

Girona has really been great this season, sitting at the second position on the table with twenty five points just like Madrid who is at the first with goal difference, is such a great achievement at this time, they have really work hard to have gotten there and it can be said it's deserving, because them achieving such without a star player is really applaudable and their coach aswell needs be commended.

They will now have to continually put up brilliant performance as this to keep up with their position as they still have three bigger teams who will contend the league title with them, Real Madrid, Barcelona and AthletiCo Madrid are strong teams in their good form who can definitely pose a strong opposition at Girona thereby threatening their position and possibility of winning the league title, but of they eventually happen to win, it will be historic that without a notable star player they achieved such, and their coach will be deserving of every commendation given him, but then I doubt the bigger boys will let this play out.

Indeed, it is possible that there is a quite similar scenario between Girona and Leicester and everything could still happen considering it is still early in the season. We cannot avoid the fact that Girona is much stronger this season and the title race is finally on their radar. Every season Barcelona and Real Madrid want the Champions League title more than the La Liga title, unless their opportunity is lost in this competition then the turning point will be for both of them to compete again for the La Liga title.

It must be admitted that Girona is a new challenger in the title race and their chances of winning this title are quite high if they continue to maintain consistency. On the other hand, usually there will be times when the teams will fight each other hard 3 or 2 months before the season ends and if Girona can overcome this it will certainly be a very extraordinary season for them.
