I agree that Ancelotti still has his plans for Modric and how he can be used to the benefit of the team, but also to his own benefit considering how old he is and that he can't play a full season in the same way he usually did. His game is physically very intensive because he is moving a lot up and down and he is taking on hard duels with no mercy. This intensity does come at a cost and the good thing about Modric is and Ancelotto knows that too, if there is ever a substitution needed in the midfield in an unexpected moment, Modric is never the wrong choice because he doesn't need half an hour of play time to find his game and he doesn't make any mistakes even if he is sitting on the bench without a warm up program. That's a huge option for a coach to have.

The media will always take advantage of something that can benefit them, in fact they can always get it even if they only report rumors that are not true. Modric's future is unknown at the moment, but he will soon part ways with Real Madrid after his contract expires. No one knows exactly where he will continue his career, but of course several teams will be interested in hiring him even though he is almost 40 years old.

Basically Modric no longer needs to have a career with any team if he doesn't extend his contract with Real Madrid, I mean he has won everything with Madrid. Modric could choose to retire instead of taking advantage of his opportunity to earn more money at 39 years old, but I don't mind that if he has the desire to gain more career experience.

Real Madrid seems to want to keep Modric until his contract ends this season. But if you look at the conditions he is experiencing this season, of course Modric doesn't get many playing minutes so it's possible he will leave Real Madrid in the winter transfer market. Modric doesn't have to retire because he is still capable of contributing to a team, but if he feels his career is enough then that is the best choice for him.

It seems that Luka Modric can still play another 1-2 seasons as a regular player in the MSL or SPL. It doesn't matter how old you are, the fact is that playing in the SPL or MSL only requires experience rather than just relying on strength. Modric is no longer strong, it's true, but his experience exceeds that of other players in the SPL or MSL, especially for those in the same position as him.

After 10 weeks have passed this season and Girona is still able to maintain their victory in Laliga. Well, this is quite a big surprise this season. Even Girona has the same number of points as Real Madrid. And 1 point ahead of Barcelona. It seems that Girona really wants to get a ticket to the Champions League this season. But towards the middle of the season usually there will be many changes. And if Girona can stay in their current position until the middle of the season then I think this team is really strong. They survived and won many matches not only because of luck but also because of the good quality of their play.

It's football bro, we've seen more shocking transfers happen in football so either or both of Modric leaving won't be a surprise.
Kroos has been very critical of people going to Saudi league but I think he's just been hypocritical. If a player that is 33 and has played all his life at the top level and is at the twilight of his career decides to get more money before he retires then I don't see anything wrong with that. I only have a problem with youngsters joins the Saudi league, not veterans that have played about 12-15 years at top level.
I believe Modric would be leaving Madrid at the end of the season, but it seems he might be heading to the MLS. I've seen reports of Inter Miami being interested in him.


Atletico Madrid's problem in recent years have always been consistency. They always struggle to be in top form for the whole of the season. A time might come when they begin to drop points unnecessarily which doesn't help, especially when you have teams like Barcelona and Real Madrid fighting for the league.
If they can stay consistent this season then we might be seeing a very interesting title fight from them.

My last week's booked game was Real Madrid to win Sevilla, having them draw in that match was what I never expected from Real Madrid. I was annoyed with the result outcome because I knew the position Real Madrid stood at the Laliga table(number 1) when compared with Sevilla(below 10th).
To me, Real Madrid could have won because of that without finding it difficult to break Sevilla's defense

I am looking forward to such a match on Saturday. The last time we had an El Clasico match was around March and Barcelona won by 2 goals to one goal(2-1) against Real Madrid. Now, they are going to meet again in Barcelona home. It can be a win for Barcelona again or not.

So much have been said about this game as it's no news that it's between two big teams in the la Liga and it's definitely going to be interesting as one of the most anticipated in Spain currently, both teams are hoping to play at maximum capacity,(with their complete squads) because it's a very important match for them both as it will determine who has got the best of strength in comparison.

It's seems Barcelona would be having a weak spot with the intended featuring of lewandoski who is just recovering from injury, rumors have it that after this game he might go back for further treatment, which may mean he is not fully recovered. I don't know why Barcelona would want to put up such a risk when they have hot good substitute, nevertheless I hope he doesn't play full time else he may get another injury that may further worsen his current state. Bellingham is my greatest anticipation in this match as his performance always gat me wanting to see more of him, obviously Madrid is at an advantage in this game but till then I look forward to the out come but I'm not placing a bet on this game.

Who is not surprised by what Girona achieved in 10 matches in La Liga, topping the standings with the same points record as Real Madrid and beating Barcelona and ATM below them. Of course, this achievement was not just luck, but rather the result of a combination of a genius coach and quality players, resulting in a team performance that was classified as miraculous. If you look at their future matches, the chance of winning seems quite big, and they will compete closely with Madrid. One draw against Sociedad, and one defeat against Madrid, the other eight matches were swept clean with wins, very impressive.

It is not an exaggeration if they are now called the dark horse in La Liga, even though it remains to be seen how far their consistency can last. If they manage to finish in the top four of the standings at the end of the season, then next season we will see Girona appear in the UCL. Although it is unrealistic to say so at this time, it seems that they are already heading in that direction. Without expensive star players, Girona is able to compete with elite clubs in La Liga.

This is the most Anticipated match in the Laliga currently and it's going to be very tough for both sides cause its a battle for who would be at the top position, Realmadrid are top the league but they're only gaping Barcelona with goal  difference cause they share same points, I they win they'll top the league with 3points but if Madrid wins they'll remain at the 1st place and also top Barcelona win 3points.

 Well I agree to your statement that Madrid looks more favorable in the game, they got more if their senior player currently fit to face Barcelona, however Barcelona featuring their star player Lewandowski that not fully feat could be a very big risk cause his situation would get worsen in a match like this, i think Xavi Alonso should start him in the game so he won't play full time, he could make a super Sub for them.

Soon we are going to have Barcelona against Real Madrid and this game is very important for both teams because this time Real Madrid is in a better situation than Barcelona and they got expensive players like Jude Bellingham who is really talented and he even scored goals for this team instead of the forwards.
But the situation for Barcelona is not good at all and since Lewandowski is injured, Xavi asked the teams to make this player ready for this great match they are going to have against Real Madrid.

Girona getting yet another win is definitely a big deal, those guys are doing something magical and I do not think that anyone expected them to have this kind of season at all, it is a shock to everyone, it must be at some point shock to even Girona as well, I do not think that players and the staff there expected to be this good before the season started as well, it's really cool to see them keep getting wins. They are tied at the top right now with Real Madrid and I think that's as big of an achievement as they could hope for.

I still do not think that they can hang in there, I still think that they are going to have a period where they lose points back to back and drop from the top, but it is a big achievement to be there for them even right now.

Real Madrid CEO José Ángel Sánchez has denied that there is any negotiation between Real Madrid and any Saudi club for the sale of the midfield maestro. He further clarified that the club has no intention to lay off  Luka Modric because he is an important player. The ball is in the court of the Croatian legend, it is up to him to decide if he wants to go for money or to remain in his dream club. Although his playing time in Madrid has reduced since Jude Bellingham joined the club he is still strong and can also serve as a mentor to younger players. However, he shouldn't expect to be regular except Jude is not playing. And I know that Coach Carlo Ancelotti is keeping him as a standby in case Bellingham is out of play. 

I doubt Modric will want to join a league like that, which many people have labelled as a money-making league. A league where players go to make money rather than for the pure joy of playing football. Not only Modric, but also Kroos, is in wonderful form, and the top teams in the SPL would want to have them play for them, which will be extremely tough to do at the moment. Maybe they should concentrate on other players, considering none of these players have expressed an interest in playing for them.


I also have great hopes for Atletico Madrid to win La Liga this season; they've put in a strong performance this season and ended Real Madrid's unbeaten streak. Atletico Madrid is presently fourth in the rankings with 22 points. They've played nine matches, with one outstanding match, and there's only three points separating them from the first and second-place teams in the standings right now. This has caused the point gaps in the top four to close, indicating how competitive first place will be this season.

There have been speculations about Modric being invited by Cristiano Ronaldo to Al Nassr for quite a long time, but until now the news has not happened, recently Madrid management said that they would not intend to sell Modric to an Arab club even in January 2024 transfer market, but I am sure those words will not last long, so far Modric's playing time has decreased drastically, he may have to insist on moving if Madrid continues to keep him, Modric is one of the world's greatest midfielders even though he is no longer young, the team that got him is very lucky.

If Modric receives offers from several Saudi clubs, we have heard that several Saudi clubs are interested in using his services. Even though this midfielder is no longer at a young age. Well, referring to what you said, to be honest I haven't heard any rumors that Modric is interested in continuing his career if he ends his contract with Madrid. In fact, I haven't heard any rumors that Modric will move to MLS. Or maybe, I'm not following the latest developments regarding the departure of several players, especially veteran Real Madrid players.
IMO, how cool would it be if Modric really retired and ended his career as a Real Madrid Legend with the loyalty and work ethic he gave to the club and team. and Madrid, must give him appreciation for his dedication while defending Real Madrid.

  Excellent description of the pause for international games. But only there was not a month, but only 2 weeks. Atletico have 6 wins in their last 6 games (including the Champions League) and by the way, if you take into account the lost points, they now share first place with Real, as does Girona. I wouldn't be surprised if they become (for a while) sole leaders or continue to keep pace with Real - they have an easy calendar of games.

I think he is making reference to Celta Vigo, who have just won one match, drawn three, and lost six so far this season; but with Atletico Madrid, I think he got it wrong because they only lost one match to Sevilla, drew one against Betis, and won seven out of the nine matches they have already played in the La Liga this season. Moreover, I think they are stronger this season compared to last season because they won Real Madrid this season, and with the momentum they carry this season, I am sure they will fight for the league title along with Barcelona and Real Madrid.

I am surprised that the dude didn't do the calculations on the basis of favoring or commending the efforts of Atletico Madrid. Because if he did, he will be quick to at least commend the efforts of the club so far.

1. Atletico Madrid is positioned as the 4th club in the table after Real Madrid, Girona and Barcelona which is generally commendable.

2. Out of the 9 matches that the club has played in the league, they were able to conceive 7 matches with goals over their opponents which makes it just a one match difference of win and lose between them and Real Madrid when you factor in the matches they've played so far. Realize that Madrid, Girona and Barca are in their 10th matches.

3. Also realize that, Atletico Madrid has drawn and lose in only one match which is equivalent to Real Madrid and Girona whereas Barcelona have drawn 3 matches although with no lose.

4. There is possibility that Atletico Madrid will top the table should in case they win their next match against Alaves which is predicted like so. Especially when they trash them with more goals, they will have the chance to top the table as they will rise from 22 points to 25 points on the table.

And so many more things to compare or juxtapose. So why will someone go out there to easily downgrade the efforts of the club so far?
