Sergio Ramos is back at Sevilla!  Grin

I must admit that I wasn't waiting for this to happen. Because there were teams after him with much better contract offers. There were Saudi teams and Galatasaray. After turning down the Saudi I wondered if he was going to sign for Galatasaray. Because you know there have been rumours like he would join them on the condition that they qualify for the Champions League groups.

However he is back at home, Sevilla. I won't be surprised even if he decides to retire here but I don't know at what age he would like to retire. Do you think we would watch him in another place before he retires?
Sergio Ramos gave the reason why he chose to return to Sevilla rather than accept an offer from another team because it was a feeling of respect for his father and grandfather who had been fans of Sevilla for a long time. Even though Al-Ittihad offered a salary of 30 million euros, Galatasaray gave a salary of 8 million euros, while Sevilla only gave a salary of 1 million euros and he preferred to return to his old club, which he had left for 18 years. From this we can see why he turned down the big offer and maybe indeed returning home is what he needs most right now rather than making more money elsewhere. I think it's likely that Sevilla will be his retirement place and it's unlikely he'll be interested in trying something at another team.
Completely agreed it's not all about money it's all about dignity and love, so Sergio Ramos is surely one of the best player prove money is nothing respect and love is still existed, and I am really appreciating his this decision which he has done for the sack of his father and grandfather in current time rejecting offer like 30 Million is never been easy while we have many players those are escaping from big leagues for less than this amount, but he decided against this and now giving lesson spirit of the game is still existed.

Sevilla is currently at the bottom of league table, and now they already sack their coach as well hopefully things will be improved, and we will have better results from them in coming days with Champions League is also coming, so they need to be positive for this all.

Sergio Ramos can maybe help Sevilla to have a better performance in the next games, Sevilla was not a strong team in La Liga and they had poor performance in some games also they are at the bottom of the La Liga table. However, Sergio Ramos didn't have a good performance in PSG and we can't expect to see a miracle from this palyer in Sevilla maybe he just joined this team to end his career there.
Sevilla is the team he started his career there.

I know Barcelona spent a little money this season in the transfer market but they got some top quality players. Ilkay Gundogan, Felix, Cancelo, Inigo Martinez and Oriol Romeu are good signings out of them, but I believe Real Madrid will make every effort to win the title this season. Barcelona has an advantage in the Champions League, but I don't think Xavi can realize the dream of millions of Barcelona fans to win the title.
That's what we don't know whether Xavi will realize the dream of Barcelona fans towards the Champions League title or not. The winner of the Champions League title this season is unknown to everyone.
The last time Barcelona won the Champions League title was in 2014/2015. Since that time till now, the Barcelona team hasn't won it again or come close to runner-up.
Barcelona management spending the little they have to sign players, shows that they want something different at this time to lift the Champions League title, if it is possible.
Let's see how they play and qualify for their group-stage matches, then we can exaggerate how lengthy they can go in their Champion League matches.
Barcelona is experiencing quite serious financial problems, their debt is quite large to date. Maybe that's one of the factors why Xavi squad is less aggressive in the transfer market, the addition of Joao Felix and Cancelo using the loan route. Meanwhile, Ikay Gundogan and Martinez were recruited on a free transfer basis, from this we can see that Barca is quite careful in spending money.

However, even so, I quite applaud Xavi, with limited financial strength he was able to win La Liga last season. Even though this season it looks like Madrid are more favored in La Liga, Barca remains one of the favorites in either La Liga or the UCL.

Wasn't it too early to sack Quique Setién for Villarreal? I mean the last season didn't went bad for this team in the first place. They finished in 5th place which helped them join the Europa League group stage. I'm aware of the bad start they have made to this season with only 3 points in 4 matches.

But it is still early to decide to sack your manager while your last season effort wasn't poor. Sevilla started even worse than them for example but they haven't sacked Mendilibar right away. They won the Europa League title of course. But still I don't think it is fair to make this decision at the beginning already.
Villarreal should not have done this and this would actually make things worse when they fired Quique Setien when Villarreal was in an unstable situation and if this happened the coach would definitely be replaced with a new coach who would waste a long time to build chemistry with the players who had to be trained and You will also be given a good strategy, even if you waste time adapting and end up with a decrease in performance.
There are examples of clubs from other leagues that I can't mention here, when the club performance was bad, they even fired the coach which ultimately made the club situation worse and even had their performance decline further at the end of the season and I know that Villarreal currently doesn't look like it performed like last season, but this is just an early start to the season that doesn't need to be taken seriously.

I believe there was a lot of pressure. I know that they have been performing pretty badly so far. The performance was certainly expected to be better from them. In the last season, they finished in a respectable position, but this season so far they have not been able to perform well enough. They have definitely performed badly. So far they have played four matches and they have lost three out of them. They did win one match, however that is not enough.

Yes, this is just the start of the season, and if the coach was given time, I believe he might have brought in better results in the future. The way they had started, things were going to only get better from that stage. but I also cannot say that this decision was bad. After all, they want results.

Lewandowski Robert wake up (great) he is -3 from the top one: Bellingham J. with 5 goals

Bellingham is a midfielder. Now he started the league well, but he will not score the goals all season. He scored 8 goals in the league in Germany last season, now don't expect him to score goals in every match just because he scored 5 goals in the first matches. If he closes the season with 15 goals, he will have accomplished a great job. Lewandowski, on the other hand, can score a hat-trick in a match if necessary and catch them. It's very easy for Lewandowski to score goals, he is a complete finishing striker. If Barca's wingers and midfielders can feed him better, he will continue to score goals at full speed. At the end of the season, Lewandowski and other forwards will be in the top scorer race, but not Bellingham.

Lewandowski, on the other hand, that you're talking about, he can't score like the way he scored in Bayern Munich, he can't do it alone, he needs a great winger and midfielder and i think Lewandowski is not having that much assist like it use to be when he was at Munich, everyone knows Lewandowski as high goal scorer, he can scored 4 goals or more in just one game. But since he came Barcelona i don't think he's having that performance again. Despite Bellingham might also improve in La Liga more than he was at Germany league, he scored 8 goals last season on Germany league doesn't mean he can't do much than that in Madrid, i can see much improvement with him, with perfect winger like Rodrygo and Vinicius I believe he will have more goals.

Robert Lewandowski is playing in his second season for Barcelona, and in his first season has contributed 32 goals. His presence in the top scorer race is inevitable when Real Madrid striker Benzema is no longer in this race. But, I see his fitness decline, partly due to his age and the fact that he has to play many 90-minute matches.
This will be an opportunity for Bellingham to become the player leading the top scorer list. He kicked the opponent's net 5 times, achieving an impressive scoring record no different from a striker. This player stands out with his ability to move without the ball. That's why he scores so many goals. Bellingham always appears calm and focused. Thanks to Bellingham's extremely high performance, Real Madrid took the top spot in La Liga with an absolute 12 points after 4 matches.

La Liga has just started and the journey is still long. When they try to sack Quique Setien, it will only make the club worse off. At least they have to give Quique Setien another chance to change the strategy used to win in the next game. Until now, Villarreal has managed to be in the top fifteen positions at the top of the standings, which is good enough. The next target should be to make it into the top ten at the top of the standings.

So all in all, between their UCL group being a little bit easy, and the league seems like they could do fine, I am sensing that they could actually do great this season. I am expecting at least a quarter finals, possibly a semi finals at the UCL level, a league title, and maybe even the cup if they are lucky. That should bring in back all that financial loss and they could do quite well for the few next seasons and not really worry about the money anymore.

For the money part, I feel Barcelona will have money problems for a few more seasons. This is because it's not because Barcelona are are really broke but it's because of the restrictions that La Liga has ok it's teams. As you can see every team in the league is struggling financially. That's all thanks to Tebas. So except Tebas losses his election this December and La Liga get a new president, Barcelona will most likely have financial problems.

I also believe Barcelona will do well this season. Injuries ruined their seasons last seasons even if they won the league. This season they've done pretty well in the transfer window and have a solid squad.
They can compete for everything.

Barcelona are title defenders, they will make sure they sealed their place in UEFA Champions League this season and also push further to gain good points on the league table. Xavi Hernandez is working entirely on his team inother to revived them into a more standard and balanced form. Ofcourse it's his job to fixed things for the club because they're currently facing minot challenges in league games. Barcelona is an elite team with quality players this season, I've not given up on the blaugrana because they will ensured they bounced back to La Liga with remarkable performance.

In the last 5 seasons Barcelona and Real Madrid have both won 2 titles, while Atletico Madrid has won 1 title. These three teams compete to win the title and that is why La Liga is still better than Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga.

I believe Xavi has made Barcelona stronger season after season. Barcelona must be able to defend its title this season and must not make many mistakes in every match. Barcelona's chances are good, but Real Madrid will still be a strong contender after failing last season. Real Madrid has always failed to defend its title in the last few seasons, while Barcelona has a good record of repeating it.
Xavi has done a very good at work Barcelona, lifting the Lalliga tittle for them last season, and he is still aiming to retain the tittle, but that is really going to be a hard nut to crack this season because I watched Real Madrid's games and I must confess, those kids at the club are really doing an incredible job, they are showing that they are world class. The way they show possession when they have the ball, and how they are composed while playing games is something to have a thought of.I know Barcelona have a lot experienced players at the club, and one thing that always matters is experience when one is contending for tittle. There are a couple of players who have won tittles before that are in the Barca squad,,and that alone is what will give them an edge over Madrid, but I still think Madrid will win the league this season.

According to the news by the famous football journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Villareal head coach Quique Setién has left the club and seize to be manager and the report says that it's due to his one win and three losses in for games this season that's made him lose his managerial position, the club director of football Miguel Angel Tena, will replace him on an interim basis and resume training tomorrow.
Now this is what happens when a manager leave up to expectations and fail to deliver his club, he's a fine coach though he's currently very old but has managed in other Laliga clubs like Barcelona, and Realbetis but failed to be successful at Villareal, well I hope the former club director of football would be able to handle to the position of the head coach and probably win their next match, if feel they should had signed a new manager instead of appointing the director as an interim manager.
This is the quickest sacking of a coach and I'm surprised it happened for Villarreal. The fact that they have had such negative results so far is a strong reason for coach Setien's dismissal and it is likely that Villarreal will struggle a bit in the upcoming matches if they do not prepare a replacement coach. Now the candidate for a new coach will also have a big responsibility to bring Villarreal back to winning ways and that's not easy with the current circumstances. I think Villarreal was too hasty in sacking the coach.

I don't expect Barcelona to defend the La Liga title this season easily. Real Madrid need to make amends for last season's mistakes by winning the La Liga title this season, meaning Barcelona should not get a big chance to lead the table and win it again.

If Bellingham and Lewandowski score the same number of goals until the end of the season, then Bellingham is sharper and better than Lewandowski. Because they both occupy different positions even though they have the same goal, namely scoring goals. We know that Lewandowski is a pure striker, while Bellingham is plotted as a false nine, this is fundamentally very different. With Madrid's current playing composition, which has been hit by many injuries and lack of front line options, I think Bellingham is one of the hopes for scoring goals at the moment.

I am quite optimistic that Bellingham can score more than 15 goals by the end of the season in La Liga, provided that Ancelotti uses a 4-3-1-2 formation. We'll see if he can enter the top three of La Liga's top scorers list.

Agree, it is not worth comparing Jude Bellingham with Lewandowski in terms of scoring goals, because their positions are clearly different. This is what is worrying all fans about Jude Bellingham right now is when the time will come when he doesn't score anymore goals, and fans forget that Jude Bellingham's main attribute that is needed is not to score goals. Indeed, Jude's quality in the last four matches surprised us because he scored a lot of goals.

But what we forget is the main quality required at Real Madrid from him is his ability to move with the ball and without the ball because he is a playmaker. Hopefully, when the time comes when Jude doesn't score again, even for a long time, we won't forget that the main contribution needed from him is more than just his goal scoring instinct but being able to control the game. Of course, if Real Madrid want their players to score a lot of goals, they must immediately replace Benzema.

LGD2Business, I agree with you and rihgt now I don't have high expectations for Bellingham.
So far Bellingham has proven to us that he is a good attacking midfielder for Real Madrid. He scores goals and helps Real Madrid win games, but I can't fully expect him to score every game Real Madrid has this season. Of course I can expect him to score more than 10 goals because La Liga may be very different from the Bundesliga in terms of team defence, but still high expectations for him are not expected.

Lewandowski is a striker, of course he tends to be more expected to lead the top scorer standings and compete with several other strikers. Lewandowski has not been at his best at the start of this season, but with time he will find his identity again. This season Barcelona has got a good winger from Joao Felix, so that will make Barcelona better in terms of attack power, and of course it can help Lewandowski score goals with his assists.
