So, having one year contract means that he can be back to being free agent next season and think about what he will do if he wants to (or he can sign a multi year deal and stay as real backup after Courtois returns) but at the very least we are aware that he could stay as he is right now and that is the greatest thing for him. Obviously not a lot of people will have that difference and should consider the situation to be ripe for a De Gea deal without a doubt. Hope that it happens and we can see it finally after all those years.

Two penalties in the first half against the home side Almeria is something the coach have to look into because is not going to be easy to come back from a 2nil lead. Well the second half is not going to be calm but we're going to see more goals and I don't see the away team backing out neither the home team to seat back, I expect more goals in the second half.
IMO, is going to be all about the home team to come back and draw the game

So for once the pdds are interesting enough for me but I'll probably wait and see for the first week in terms of matches as I still can't see clearly the strength of both clubs in the new season.

But certainly there will be some buzz especially the opening match is clearly important to boost morale.

It seems that we are too busy talking about Barca and Real Madrid during this long gap, so we don't see what the future holds for other clubs like Sevilla, even though this club is one of the big clubs that has won the defending European league title and will compete with Valencia later.
If you look at it from Head to Head Sevilla is superior in this match because in the last 5 matches Valencia has never beaten Sevilla even though playing at home Valencia has always failed and today's match will take place at home to Sevilla it will be much harder for Valencia to admit defeat.
Even though this is not a guarantee, this is only my small prediction and I will bet on Sevilla this time.
I am also sure that some of the people here who know this match will definitely bet on Sevilla because it is very clear that there will be a narrow win.

A very interesting pair will open the new La Liga season. Both teams spent the previous season very poorly. Sevilla were on the 12th position, and Valencia on the 16th place. Nice analysis and makes sense but for me personally I would just bet with the number of goals option. But indeed, after all Sevilla has a good chance to win in this opening match even though the opponent is Valencia. Because after all, Sevilla will also be playing at home and at least, that will be the right moment for Sevilla to get full points in this first match. Nonetheless, I still hope Valencia can put up a good fight in this match and be able to score goals as well, if that happen then at least will make the match more interesting.

To be honest, I haven't followed any developments with Sevilla or Valencia, but if I refer to the available odds, apart from the bookie favoring Sevilla, Sevilla is playing as the home team. it would be very natural, if Sevilla is more favored in this match. also, Sevilla has pretty good odds @1.99 odds. especially if we refer to the H2H meeting of these two teams, Sevilla has always dominated the wins in the last 5 meetings. it's just that, we can't be sure especially since this match is the first match for the two teams in the 2023/2024 season.

Currently, three names are being associated with Real Madrid, namely Yassine Bounou, David de Gea and Kepa Arrizabalaga. But I am more inclined to De Gea, because apart from being worthy because of his proven experience, Madrid does not need to spend money on transfer fees. One thing I'm sure of is that they'll all like to move to Madrid, because who would want to move to a club where they stand a better chance of getting a medal or winning the champions league but for Kepa and Yassine the decision lies on their club to let them go or if Madrid would be willing to spend any required amount for them, however Degea is free and wouldn't mind moving to Madrid considering the fact that Courtouis might stay on injury for a long term probably the entire season if it's very bad.
