It is insane how things turned against them and remember how Barcelona was talking about a lifetime contract for Flick... But there is nothing left of what seemed to be one of the best Barcelona teams in a long time. Unbelievable how they have beaten Real Madrid and now it is hard to imagine that they are going to play for the title anymore.

If Atletico wins the game they still have in hand, it is 6 points already and Barcelona is unlikely to have a long winning streak.

The tide is turning now as Madrid were the club in pain at the start of the season but now it's Barcelona who have really crumbled in the last few weeks leading up to the halfway point of the season.

Barcelona have had a lot of problems it seems and Flick still can't fix this which makes the situation even more difficult for them. So with exactly half of the league played Barcelona might find itself 6 and 5 points behind the first two, having lost an insane 11 points against Atletico in the last 5 matches in a head-to-head, based on the last 6th matches Barca is 14th in the league, probably the worst time to back a favorite like them.

The real strange thing I find about this is that Atletico is still 2 points higher on the odds of winning the championship than the two.

The storm of injuries that hit Real Madrid was finally overcome by Ancelotti where he was able to improve the quality of Mbappe so that he will always be Ancelotti's mainstay in every match.
