If you were to look at Barcelona's statistics from the games they have already played, you would discover that they are not making a lot of an effort to score more than one goal in a match. They are a lot less anxious now because they aren't worrying about scoring many goals to win their remaining games. Since they already leading the LaLiga table by 14 points over Real Madrid. One goal is acceptable for them to keep the winning pace rolling for being the champions of the Laliga 2022/2023 season.

I don't think that was the point, they weren't planning to score more than one goal but they did struggle there.
The chances they created were many and indeed it shows that they keep trying it's just that the results in the last few matches were not as expected.
They still have difficulty in maintaining the productivity of their goals. On the other hand, this is actually not a problem for now because Madrid really doesn't really intend to chase and prioritize other things over La Liga.

Sociedad in top 4, for La Liga this is a good indicator. After the removal of Karvakhal, it became clear that Real could not correct the current situation and this became another loses for Real Madrid. Real will play the next game with Osasuna, perhaps in this match, Real will also lose points because they will be prepared for the game with City.

The problem of the condition of the players is also a factor in this matter because indeed seeing from the condition there are not a few players who are absent in this match.
Vini, Benzema, Valverde, Camavinga are not in the squad which makes it very difficult too. On the other hand moving Rodrygo to a position he rarely does also does nothing in this regard.

It was a tough match for Barcelona, because many people thought that Barcelona will use that red card Osasuna got at 27 minutes to achieve many goals from the match but they struggle to got one goal at 85 minutes to defeated Osasuna 1-0. If not the red card Osasuna player got in the first half, it would have be difficult for Barcelona to win this match because despite the 10 players in the field, Osasuna players still displayed well till 85 minutes before Barcelona strikers gain access to their goalpost to achieved victory from the match. I think, Barcelona coach need to work on their defense because their strikers were not comfortable in the front because of the defense that was not too strong through out the match.

There is a huge opportunity for Atletico Madrid to go for the second position in the standings right now. I was expecting Real Madrid to lose points in absence of some important players and they didn't make me surprised much. I don't think Real Madrid care about finishing the season as the second now either. They just gave up after falling behind Barcelona.

Atletico Madrid shouldn't have much problem on beating Cadiz home. They have been in wonderful shape for many weeks in the league and they definitely deserve the second position more than Real Madrid these days. Maybe they can't fight for the league title but this is still good for them at least.

With the way Real Madrid is losing points in La Liga, it is very challenging to stay in the second position of the points table. Real Madrid lost 2-0 to Real Sociedad in today's match. Real Madrid lost this match but T. Courtois was excellent in this match. He saved many balls. Despite losing the match, T. Kubo(4.2*) was the highest rated player followed by T. Courtois(4*).

Yeah, right from the first half. I was much more surprised when I saw the odds bookmakers had set for the game, Real Madrid at 4minutes in had 2.24 odds, this is Real Madrid, second on the table and champions in the UCL. But, when you see how much the team was diluted, the absence of Benzema, Luka Modric, Vini Jnr and even Camavinga, there is no one there to push forward. We had Rodrigo, Asensio and T. Kroos to try but, they weren't going to get no where. Worst still, Dani Carvajai got ha first yellow in a controversial situation and then a second in an obvious fowl to produce the red. After that, there was nothing Real Madrid could offer. They just end up being gorged to make mistakes and they did with Real Sociedad scoring needed goals.

Honestly I believe that Atletico Madrid really deserve the 2nd spot now. I think that for people who have very familiar with the real madrid and seeing the line up that being used by ancelotti against real sociedad is enough to determine if real madrid would not be performing so well. Real madrid is missing so many players.

I agree with you. The players on the Barcelona bench are not very experienced. And so if an important player in the squad is injured, Xavi does not have a suitable replacement. Ansu Fati was given the number 10 jersey as Messi's replacement. But he could not be a worthy replacement for Messi. I have yet to see a better performance than Ansu Fati.
