I must say that this is the worst Barcelona team I have ever seen but Xavi came and did his best by keeping them in shape but gone are those days Barcelona will play and make opponents struggle to get even a possession. Talking about Ancelotti with all he have got as the Real Madrid coach could not make the la Liga a bit competitive for Barcelona by making them sweat to win the league, I mean what is he try to say? That the champions league is very much better or important than the Spanish league? I agree. Xavi already made Barca looked a powerful force once again and winning LaLiga is for sure a great achievement for the club but especially for the fans who have wait quite a lot to see Barca lifting a trophy once again.

People constantly try to undermine the work that Barcelona has done so far in a very short period since they started their rebuilding process. During the last summer transfer window everybody laughed at Barcelona and concluded they couldn't sign a single player, but they were proved wrong. Some English pundits, sports websites, and newspapers even said Barcelona has gone bankrupt and would be sold or something and a lot of football fans ran with this. Here is Barcelona today standing as La Liga champions and now you are pinning it down on the signings they made and saying they should be in the champions league final with those signings.
While I agree with you that Barcelona should have done better in Europe, I also have to remind you that teams like Chelsea and even Nottingham Forest spent more money than Barcelona yet they both won't be qualifying for the UEFA Conference league, talk more about the champions league.

They are too confident with their conditions and Elche which is actually quite different but in the end their scheme really succeeded in being broken by Elche very well. Now Atletico have to come back to accept that they are in 3rd position even though their Champions League guarantee is not touched by other clubs.

Yes but as you already pointed out yourself, who cares? I know that for professional soccer players the goal should always be to give the best you can, but when there are no more goals to be achieved for a season, it isn't unusual that a favorite team loses against an underdog. This is actually a time where placing bets on the underdog can make a lot of sense. Fighting for second rank is never wrong of course as that would have also given them the title of the vice champion, but it isn't really worth anything. Betis team managed to beat rayo valecano one of the teams that surprised a lot of us this season and still have a chance at qualifying to the conference league, betis also will be playing a european competition next season which is the europa league since they are currently occupying the sixth position.

I'm a Real Madrid fan, too. However, I think Barcelona deserves to win the La Liga trophy. Barcelona could play more consistently during this season, they didn't miss too many chances of 3 points. Sure, Barcelona players are more stable in their fitness, and they also have many options if there are injured players. I'm not even seeing Barcelona to have a share in the championship in the next 4 years to come ... atleast not with the present squad.I believe they need a lot of rehabilitations on the team; cus it's not about qualifying for the champions league and playing too, but it's about being able to hold on one position for another...AFAIK, I don't think they have that ability yet. I don't think all they need is a couple of old and weary players like lewan,..I think we've got Young stars in the hood,..since they're just begining Thier career, they'll wanna play to the fullest for a better achievements at the end.

Yes, Barcelona deserve that respect from whoever they are including Real Madrid fans or others. I believe it's fair when any team wins titles, I did the same when Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid won La Liga and the Champions League.Now Xavi can breathe a sigh of relief after the team he built in the last two seasons managed to collect two prestigious titles in one season. I hope that next season Xavi can do his best in the Champions League, and of course they have to be prepared enough to spend a lot of money to buy some new players. The defense is still good, but sometimes Kounde isn't that good so Xavi also often plays Araujo on the left side of defence. Xavi needs financial support from Barcelona, he deserves it.
