hopefully Hansi Flick does not end up the same as Xavi who showed decline until he was fired, this is good start for Barcelona revival and of course they will be back to enlivening La Liga.
Just waiting for Real Madrid to rise and we can watch the fierce El Clasico, previously Hansi Flick was able to bring Barcelona to victory in El Clasico and I want to see again whether they will be able to repeat the same result or not if Real Madrid has risen.
Yeah, Xavi on his first season ended up getting the title, and that was a good thing, well not technically his first season, he joined halfway through previous season than that, but he was already given not a great team, and then on his first ever full season he won the title so everyone was incredibly hopeful about Barcelona and Xavi, looked like they will work amazingly for a very long term. That did not last long, just one year later he was fired.
I always suggested that he wasn't fired for just results, he was probably fired for some other reason because he did alright, second place isn't always that bad, and he did alright with Barcelona even on the season he was fired.
Now we are seeing most of those stars he found, like Yamal, to take Flick to another level and everyone thinks that Flick is doing great but the moment he starts to lose a few games and Real wins the league he will be fired. Losing the title to Madrid isn't really that shocking, it could happen, that's not a reason to fire a coach.
