But I think even though Sevilla is currently in a slump, I still consider it one of the strongest teams in La Liga. Currently, Sevilla must try to stay away from the relegation zone so that in the following season they can improve their squad and be able to compete again with other top teams. The game against Almeria will keep them very motivated to move up the table and I hope the players have the mentality to achieve that.

They still have chance but it is small and becomes smaller with their latest bad results in La Liga. I think those bad results imply more things and issues behind like an increasing effect of ageing on their old players like Modric, Kross, Benzema. I believe those players are strong mentally and have good self confidence but they are smart enough to realize effects of ageing on their bodies.

Their coach is experienced enough to realize it too and with big gap like this, it's more realistic if Real Madrid have more focus on Champions League in weeks that have matches in Champions League. With this, Barcelona will be given some weeks to expand their gap against Real Madrid which is big currently already.

That was making the way of madrid become even harder. That's very sad that real madrid was really missing the golden chance to surpass barcelona. I doubt if real madrid will able to win la liga.

There is no historical precedent for it as far as I remember. In modern football, clubs have very shady and unhealthy finance management and we have many clubs like this like Manchester City, PSG, Chelsea, Barcelona especially clubs that have abundant financial support from their billionaire owners. However I have never seen any precedent to relegate a club.

In the past, if you violate rules, let's pay fine fees and continue. That is historic solutions for Manchester City and PSG so I believe Barcelona will have to do the same and continue to play in where they are in.

Playing in Segunda B is possible but is blacklisted from all official UEFA competitions sounds like impossible.

The match was hard to predict, to be honest for everyone but they played better than Cadiz if you ask me because they were playing more than ten minutes with 10 players after the red card, the game was much close for both teams and but Getafe was going to lose the game until the last minutes of the match when they scored their second goal to get a draw from this match.

I don't think Madrid can do a comeback against Barcelona in the second leg of the Copa del rey. I'm not saying its not possible but I don't think it will happen. The match would be played on the 5th of April which is after the international break and by then all Barcelona players will be available, except they get injured during the international break. Barcelona has a very good defense right now so Madrid would find it very difficult to break that defense and score at least two goals without Vinicuis Jr. Vinicuis won't be playing that second leg because he's on a suspension.

As for the La Liga, I believe the decider of the league would be the second leg of el classico coming up next weekend. If Madrid can manage to get all three point from that fixture then they stand a chance to overtake Barcelona in the La Liga. But if Barcelona wins, Madrid can kiss their title challenge for the season goodbye because they won't be able to catch up with Barcelona if that happens.

Ancellotti has confirmed if benzema will not play against espanyol. We do know that it's very bad choice for ancellotti but since the gap with barcelona is very big and i think that ancellotti was putting all if his focus into the UCL rather than la liga.
I think that if real madrid really need a good striker like benzema. That's why pushing the club to buy osimhen from napoli will become a very good decision. Rodrygo is not capable to replace benzema.
