Awful game from Barcelona as I don't get it how they lost against Almeria and only managed to have 1 SHOT on the goalie....like hold up a minute , how could Barcelona produce only 1 real chance of scoring ? My guess would be the shock from Man United elimination is still on their heads as the club is really chasing another international trophy even if it's not gonna be UCL.
Lucky for them , is that they still have a comfortable amount of points in front of Real Madrid.

Barcelona missed out on the opportunity to go ten points clear at the top of the table. With Madrid playing a 1-1 draw with Atletico, this was Barcelona's golden chance to extend their lead at the top but they couldn't take it. The had to rest a lot of their players because they will be playing Real Madrid for the first leg of the Copa del Rey on Thursday at the Santiago Benabue.

That is the weirdest thing ever,they conceded 9 goals in their last 2 games and they are the second worse defense of La Liga after Elche which is the team that conceded the most goals.Barcelona not playing like they usually do and trying to play with long cross in the Almeria defense which is not working,it is very strange seeing a Barcelona not scoring goals when they only have done so in the beginning of the La Liga against Rayo Vallecano,then they scored in 21 consecutive games and now they are not scoring against one of the worse defenses of La Liga,something is clearly wrong here.

Another small result today for Barcelona, but this time a loss. That will feel sour. Think it has to do with the elimination in the EL, in which United were too good. Barcelona still the top favorite to become champion. 7 points ahead of Real Madrid may still be a lot. But it could also have turned out very differently if Real had not equalized very late yesterday and Barcelona had won this. Then you would have had a lead of 11 points. But that doesn't count.
