They still find it difficult to take advantage of that even though their condition in terms of ball possession and the opportunities they get are actually very good.
17 shot and 3 on target is clearly not very good in my opinion.

Atletico Madrid's real opponents in the league are teams like Real Sociedad, Betis and so on in the league from now on. Because they have shown once again that they are no threat to either Barcelona or Real Madrid. The point gap was already very big though but the Barcelona game showed why the gap was that big again.

Simeone had better prepare for resigning from his job otherwise I think the board will decide to sack him at the end of the season. This is such a terrible season for them as they are in no European tournament and even their chance of finishing in top 4 might be in danger.

But with this condition they can't be too confident now because before that they were also too confident with the derby against Espanyol which results they can be said to have lost in my opinion even though at that time the match was a draw.
Obviously it's getting better because they have a 3 point lead now but it's still a bit of a problem if later on their schedule gets tighter because Xavi has to still try to find some plans at the moment because we know right now he's always focused on the core line up so when there are some Absenteeism can be difficult for them.

Sometimes I don't believe in this particular prediction of matches because you can predict to be drawn and the final if the match ends with 1:0 or above 1 so therefore that is why when predicting a match I don't like to make an emphasis because at the end of that March it will become that one particular team will win

Barcelona did not perform well against Espanyol in the first match after the World Cup break. Although Espanyol is a weak team, Barcelona could not get 3 points in this match. However, the Barcelona team did not make any mistakes against Atletico Madrid. They were very tactical against Atletico Madrid. And they performed very carefully. Barcelona only needs to maintain its performance and consistency to win the match that is waiting for them. It's hard to expect them to be perfect at the moment, but Xavi and his players have huge ambitions for Laliga this season. I never thought the game against Atletico Madrid would be easy, but it was a difficult game because both teams looked optimistic about getting maximum points. Even if Barcelona wins, it doesn't mean Atletico Madrid is bad but they just keep failing in many games in the end.

El Clasico is a match that everyone is waiting for and it will happen in Q2 in March, so the preparation of the two teams is very important, especially for Barcelona because in El Clasico before they lost 3-1 to Madrid

when I say very tough I mean there were a lot of fouls and a lot of nastiness
in a perfect match there would be no red or yellow cards
it would be played with fairplay and correctness and whoever is really better would win

instead we have fouls, we have simulations, we have tactical fouls.. so I'm only referring to that
