This is an important win for Barcelona, but definitely a very bad loss for Atletico Madrid. Barcelona is 3 points ahead of Real Madrid as their eternal rival, so that was clearly expected before the match started. Dembele was the hero of the win but he should have had more than one goal had he taken his chances.

it seems like a small offense but because these two players seem like they want to fight and it doesn't take much consideration for the referee to issue 2 red cards for each player. Indeed, before I said that this match would be quite fierce with quite a hot atmosphere and it was proven that Barcelona victory must end with a red card. But I see that this match has a big consequence that belongs to Barcelona because they are able to make the game more interesting which can make the host lose concentration.

The referee didn't really have a choice even if he didn't see the whole situation enfolding. I am not entirely sure in how far the VAR is responsible in that situation for letting the referee know as that situation is not connected to a pre-goal scene or anything. Are any misbehaviors on the pitch also to be punished via the VAR? Anyway, the situation looked as if it was to get out of control. The two guys were almost slapping each other. You could really see how they were trying to hold themselves back from totally escalating.

Comparing to other teams, yeah Atletico have 15 conceded goals, not bad comparing to the other teams this season. But actually that's not a good record for their defense, which usually they got less than 30 conceded goals only for years in every season (except the last season). It must be Simeone's main concern atm and until he finds some defensive players who able to fit his needs, I think Atletico couldnt get their shape back quickly.

Atlético Madrid is never better than Real Madrid. Atlético, who only won 1 game in their last 5 matches and lost 5 games in 16 matches, is no way better than Madrid even in their worst performance. Atlético are playing at their comfort, their games are majorly defensive unlike Madrid who play attacking games and even their defense sometimes overlap in the midfield just to create chances for the forwards they reason they conceded more goals than Atlético.

Simeone will not only need to sign forward players, but to work on the team pattern of play. This was why they finished at the bottom of the table in the group B of the UCL group stage matches. Atlético aren't showing any tendency of competing for anything this season, not even copa de Rey

Laliga league is complex with highly competitive clubs in the League, more actions coming in from the teams. The winning was so much deserved by bluagrana because it was the only edging points they needed to ranked back to been first on the league table. So much efforts put in from the players, with Pedri, Gavi and Dembele displaying good performance in the game. Xavi Hernandez proud of his players, for beating Diego Simeon men, although the game was a little bit difficult for barça.

Sevilla dominated the game against getafe. Sevilla performance was very impressive which they scored two goal in yesterday match. The Victory for Sevilla was unexpected, their winning brought them out from the relegation zone. Getafe miss the opportunity of winning the game to be in the 11th position ahead if valencia.
