And that is also the reason why Barcelona is going to get a chance of getting ahead in terms of points compared to Real Madrid if they win or even draw their next match.

After the break, neither Barcelona nor Real Madrid started well. if the point difference was any less, I could say that some other team is actually going to give Barcelona and Real Madrid some serious problems. But that is not happening, at least not anytime soon.

Because obviously, Barcelona is ahead of Real Madrid in terms of goal difference, even though they are even in terms of points.

If he meant that Real Madrid is ahead in terms of the quality of the squad, I think that would have been much more accurate. Because Real Madrid does have a very balanced team right now. Barcelona will play Atletico Madrid in the next match. And if Barcelona can win that match, or even draw, Barcelona will get ahead compared to Real Madrid in terms of points as well.

Now, after the loss to Real Madrid, Barcelona has a chance to break away, especially after the last game against Intercity, which threatened to become a disaster for Barcelona.

This depends on the performance of Atletico Madrid in my opinion. If they can play better than before then this match will make it difficult for Barcelona, but when they are still in the same condition, that is, they always don't perform well, then it is very likely that this match will belong to Barcelona. Atletico Madrid will get the full support of their supporters in this match, and I think it would be more embarrassing if Atletico Madrid lost at home to visiting Barcelona.

So, if Barcelona is able to win the next game against Atlético Madrid, which will be one of the toughest games they will have to face, but still if they are able to complete the task they will be ahead of Real Madrid by three points which is a big deal in my opinion. Now the title run will depend on Xavi's tactics.

And I have to say that I am very disappointed with Real Madrid as they have lost 2-1 to Villarreal.

This is worth watching, regardless of what the opportunity for Barcelona to widen the gap with Real Madrid is huge now because Madrid had to be willing to lose points yesterday after losing to Villarreal.
Now the chance is still there but indeed we also can't be confident with Barcelona because this match is still fifty-fifty I think.
But of course Barcelona's big hopes are now clear after seeing the performance and condition of the players.

I really expected Atletico Madrid to take advantage of their home advantage today. Barcelona are known to do everything possible to win this match, that's because they have to take advantage of Real Madrid's defeat the previous day. I don't expect it to be an easy match for Barcelona, but I admit that they are a better team than Atletico Madrid at the moment.

Atletico Madrid will probably set a target of 3 points today, that's also because they have to claim their place in the top 4 again. Really, it's a tough match to predict the reuslt and we shouldn't just shoot without watch the match.
