It's a derby match so that was quite expected even though Barca was disappointing. What Barca lack the most is what Madrid has in abundance and that's how to win games. Madrid doesn't need to play very well to win a match. they just need to bury the chances they get. Barca on the other hand hardly wins matches they don't play well in and they always struggle against a very disciplined defensive team.
Hopefully, Barca can bounce back from that draw and go on to win their games, because they need to if they want to win the league. Madrid has a better chance of winning the league than the champions league so they'll fight to the end for the league title too. It's going to be really interesting to see.

Lalagi is the most realistic target for Xavi this season after failing in the Champions League. Laliga becoming more interesting with the both pre-eminent rivals pushing harder in each game. Xavi Hernandez would apply more advanced strategy in next game since most of his players experienced fatigued in the game, moreover their opponents were tough with the defend position, the game ended in a draw tie. I hope this season is different from the past season when Real Madrid ended the competition with 13 points higher than Barcelona. I think La Liga is slowly missing excitment as all other teams aren't able to compete with these two, they can steal two or three points from Barcelona or Real Madrid making them interchange the first rank but can't keep on the good performance throughout the season.

The two rivals are now finally starting to balance and will certainly make the competition even more exciting between the two. I also lost a bet on the Barcelona vs Espanyol match. The initial guess was that the game would end in a draw due to last season's statistics of Barcelona only managing a narrow win from two games, but was hesitant to press the option.

Barcelona had a better chance of winning against their rivals after Alonso found the back of the net in the opening 10 minutes of the first half (minute 7) thanks to Christensen's assist.

With this draw, Real Madrid continue to disrupt their concentration in the race to win La Liga this season. Their points (Barcelona and Real Madrid) are equal. But the next match Barcelona must play an away match against Atletico Madrid which is relatively difficult.

The advantage before 10 minutes of the match made the audience watching this match assume that Barcelona would win easily, moreover Barcelona could field their best squad in this game.
Lewandowski who is Barcelona's mainstay, was unable to do anything, the tension in the match was also very high which made the referee issue two red cards. The 1-1 score could not be avoided, Barcelona had to settle for sharing points in this match and Barcelona points were the same as Real Madrid.

I knew that after the world cup break so many big clubs will give us some kind of surprises that was why I was very sceptical about big clubs. But in English Premier League the first week after the world cup break all the big clubs delivered but this week Manchester City settled with one point so also Newcastle United .

Barcelona wasted many opportunities in the match to get 3 points. They are responsible for this draw as even after Espanyol had an equalizer and Jordi Alba was sent off, they still had some chances to find a winning goal. Lewandowski wasted one of chances in late of match.

The season is long and it is long time to claim the La Liga throne. Real Madrid have bigger chance after a bad match of Barcelona but you are wrong. Barcelona did not lose that match, they had a draw and lost 2 points. A draw is not a defeat.

Both team now have same total points, 38 but Barcelona have a better goal difference. La Liga 2022 - 2023 is a dual competition between them because they have 9 points more than a third team, Real Sociedad.
