Here is the Barcelona we missed. It still has some shortcomings though. The defense sometimes fails. Kounde will come and it will be better as well. The attack is amazing. They have made such a luxurious staff, there are star players who can not enter the game yet. Under the leadership of Xavi, Barça's second Guardiola period seems to be starting. Friends who have seen Lewa lower than Suarez and Benzema for years, I hope they understand why Lewa has scored over 40 goals for 8 years. Words are not enough to describe Lewandowski.
Elche vs Almeria, Both teams started their campaigns with a loss and are looking for their first wins of the season. Elche had a nightmare against Real Betis while Almeria showed some promise against Real Madrid. Highly likely that this match remains a low scoring affair even though both teams are starting with 2 strikers each. Almeria being the favs to win while playing away from home.

In this match even though there were 5 midfielders there, they still couldn't play well because their defense was also exploited again and again.
This result obviously makes Atletico a bit pessimistic even though in the first week they were very good.
Doesn't mean that we shouldn't be expecting ATM win in these type of games but doesn't mean that we are going to see them win all the time neither, it was a closer game then people imagine and it was definitely a good game to watch. I didn't wager at all, I wagered just on Barcelona this week from La Liga and that was good enough for me, but I would have probably gone for draw and not ATM win as well, which shows the possibilities.

They need to present some new players to the fans and they need to try at all cost to get things back in line. This season could seriously get out of control for them very early on.
Real is still well equipped for the season and they could even make another transfer until the end of August. Maybe they come up with a surprise.
Actually, the reason madrid let casemiro go was because he was old. Modric and kros may in the next season be gone. I was actually quite surprised he left, even Madrid have not been active in the transfer market much this season. Indeed, they still have time, but it seems that there are only 2 weeks left before the end of the transfer market. Casemiro has always been the top choice alongside Modric and Kros. Of course, Anceloti must immediately find his plaintiff. But to date I haven't read the news of the transfer insu for madrid. I hope they are still able to compete with his departure.
Well, if you look at the average age of Real Madrid's squad it has always been relatively high. Casemiro with his 30 years of age wasn't a statistical outlier. They definitely need to come up with a plan for the near future regarding Kroos and Modric. I still think it is possible that they will extend the contracts even for another year for both players if they don't get injured and play on a high level. Kroos is 32 years now and will turn 33 next year. I think it is quite likely that he will extend the contract slightly. I don't think he is planning to transfer to another club anymore. He doesn't seem to be the guy who is now going to LA Galaxy or whatever. On the other hand he once said that he doesn't want to play way beyond his peak and then look like a grandpa on the soccer field. Two important personalities that soon need to be replaced. If they don't extend their contracts that would literally mean that Real Madrid is about to substitute almost the whole midfield with Kroos, Modric and Casemiro. Time for a new generation it seems.
I think that even now it is quite a transition year for Real Madrid. They haven't been spending that much on transfer fees this season and probably they already have a plan in the back of their head that they are going to sign several new players next year for lots of positions. They still want that superstar offensive player as Benzema is only getting older as well. Then they need to some guys who can lead the midfield like Kroos and Modric are doing it. They might also be reaching out for some more defensive players. It might also come down to whether or not Ancelotti is still the coach. He is a coach who prefers less tiki taka and also less high speed soccer. He is more of the patient guy who waits for the chances and then seek the decider. That might have some influence on their decisions regarding potential new players for next season.
Most clubs in the league this season are finding it hard to gain good points in this early stage of the league, some of the big clubs like Real Madrid have made the first position on the table but then even the small clubs are playing draw or even winning the big clubs so it makes it hard for one to predict the outcome of matches.

I think this match is quite balanced even though Girona is a promoted club but the quality of the players they have is not much different from Getafe and even because this match will be played at Girona's home it will give them a bit of an advantage.

What you did was not wrong because if you look at the previous match they had a good game performance and often dominated but strangely in the match against Villarreal Atlético de Madrid's performance decreased in the last minute and seemed to underestimate the enemy because they couldn't get a goal. The new additions to the team prove themselves like they are the right transfers. Lewandowski comes at first of course. I don't mean that Aubameyang has played bad so far. In fact he was great but Lewandowski is one of the most talented strikers in football now. Their scoring ability has increased much more as a result. The Vallecano draw was an unlucky result but they have made up for that.
Lewandowski prowess as a main striker cannot be doubted, he has proven during his time at Bayern Munich.
2 goals from Lewandowski was enough to prove that he is still very dangerous even though he is 34 years old, his experience and qualities as a top striker can help Barcelona to achieve their goals this season.

Villarreal's performances can't always be expected as they tend to lose consistency when they have more match against other top teams like Real Madrid or Barcelona. Actually I wasn't convinced by Villarreal's victory yesterday because Atletico Madrid have a good capital after they won their first match of the season, but defeat is something that comes true. Casemiro's departure seems to have not been felt by Anceloti. In this match they played Celta Vigo. Certainly not a tough match. I think a lot of gambler voted Madrid or Barca can win in the match.
Barcelona won by a big score against Real Sociedad, and the great thing is that Lewandowski scored 2 goals at once in this match. Of course it was something I expected as a result of the match because it didn't make sense when I had to see Barcelona drop a lot of points in the first few match after they strengthened their team with some new players.About Real Madrid I don't think they will have a big problem after Casemiro moved to Manchester United. Aurélien Tchouaméni could be a suitable replacement for him, so Ancelotti should not worry about a move for Casemiro.

As far as I am concerned, the only problem I see Barcelona having and making is on the defensive side of the ball. In my opinion, they shouldn't have conceded that goal in the first place. There was not a great deal of marking done there. Apart from that, everything in Barcelona was very pleasant.
But that is not likely to be enough for Barcelona. There is still a lot of work to be done and Barcelona will have to continue working hard until the end of the season in order to be able to win La Liga. They will also have to keep an eye out for the Champions League title as well.

The opponent does not find Eden Hazard to be a very dangerous player any longer. There is no doubt in my mind that his time is coming to an end, and it certainly feels like it is. He has not been performing well at all lately, and when he had the chance to increase his confidence, he missed that opportunity as well, and now he has no confidence at all because his performance has not been that good recently.

yeah, ansu fati is an amazing player in this match alone he made 1 goal and 2 assists on Lewandowski and Dembele goal. fati is an active striker too, he often drops in the middle so it was a good decision by Xavi to sub Ferran Torres with Xavi in the 64th minute'.He literally changed the game direction.
In the other hand, ATM ruined their start after their defeat home vs Villarreal with 2 goals..
really an unexpected result for the match villarreal vs ATM, even though the host is ATM but they can lose 2-0 to villareal. Villareal is currently at the top of the La Liga standings.

It would be a rush to say that they are going to be challengers in the top flight but with them doing something extraordinary it gives them confidence that they will be the surprise team in La Liga this season. I hope this is not a moment of euphoria, but that they will defend until the end of the season.
Villarreal has always been a wonderful team, it is just that they do get caught off guard and small mistakes but you can't mention Laliga without them, they play defensively and offensively in most of their match. I think the giant's team of Laliga is still sleeping, aside from Real Madrid which is always consistent with that top 4, others are still waiting to reach a turning point before they begin triple points. Come to think of it, I can't remember the last time Villareal make it to the top 4, they only tried 2019/2020 and they ended in only 5 positions, maybe this time they can try harder this time.
The Laliga is looking pretty much different and its looking like a new contender is coming in. But for now the season is still too young to draw a conclusion on who wins the spanish league title. Both Real and Villarreal at the moment are pulling up almost equal strength.
Athletico created nice chances in yesterdays match but Villarreal defense were actively in form. If Villarreal keep up this performance the might likely end up in the top 4 and i won't be surprised to see them fight head 2 head with Real Madrid till the end of the season

but this time Villarreal got a good chance to destroy Atletico. now Villarreal gets full points and is at the top of the temporary standings. with 5 goals they have not conceded. it's a good achievement for Villarreal.
