What you did was not wrong because if you look at the previous match they had a good game performance and often dominated but strangely in the match against Villarreal Atlético de Madrid's performance decreased in the last minute and seemed to underestimate the enemy because they couldn't get a goal. I also lost the bet on this match. My prediction was Atletico Madrid to win. Because in the previous match, the players of Atlético had a great performance. They won 2-0 against Getafe. Villareal has picked up what they left last year so I do expect another great run from them in both LaLiga but also European competition as kinda made it to Conference League after they won by 4-2 aginst Split.

Atl.Madrid finally out of gas ? because some of the players really had a very bad performance against Villareal so maybe it's time for players like Griezman to search for a new team ? and for Diego to accept another challenge ? Maybe EPL ?

Games for today : the new promoted teams are playing and I know most us won't expect great games but so far the new promoted teams from big 4 championship of Europe performed good so we might get two great games in LaLiga tonight.

In this match Villarreal was more dominant than the home team, Atletico Madrid was very overwhelmed by the onslaught of Villarreal troops in the first half. Recorded during the first half, Villarreal was able to launch 10 shots with 2 of them recorded as shots on target.
Villarreal players managed to frustrate Atletico players, Atletico had difficulty when they got a chance to score, because the Villarreal goalkeeper played quite well. The Laliga is looking pretty much different and its looking like a new contender is coming in. But for now the season is still too young to draw a conclusion on who wins the spanish league title. Both Real and Villarreal at the moment are pulling up almost equal strength.

Athletico created nice chances in yesterdays match but Villarreal defense were actively in form. If Villarreal keep up this performance the might likely end up in the top 4 and i won't be surprised to see them fight head 2 head with Real Madrid till the end of the season

Since the arrival of Xavi Hernandez, Barcelona seems to have found the life of a game that has been lost for a long time. Criticism was coming when coach was giving a chance to the players with very bad performance to play. Yeah coach has his own opinion about that. The problem is so many people aware if players have been showing bad performance regularly but coach was always taking him as starter eleven in any upcoming match. This is pretty much the same like what happened with some club in another league. The consistency of player must become a thing for coach. Coach must take player based on its performance in the last game.

This is still unpredictable despite the good results they got actually if you look at them in a not so good first game it's definitely not a true dominance for Barcelona.
But for candidates maybe they are still included in the champion candidates, actually in their current condition it is not a performance issue that is worried about, but the problem of their condition in managing finances, which is clearly still going to be a little difficult, especially in thinking about salary.

The 2 assists he gave and the 1 goal he created really made Sociedad unable to say much in this match.

Although still a young player, Fati showed his class. And on 64 minutes he came on as a substitute. The young forward provided brilliant assists for Dembele and Lewandowski to make it 3-1 before he scored the winner. Barcelona beat Real Sociedad 4-1, but the result will have to wait until Fati enters the match midway through the second half.
