2 assists and 1 goal in this match made him a MOTM for me even though he played as a substitute.
This is a brilliant tactic from Xavi and Ansu Fati responds to the trust given to him with his supersub. He played very well in this match and it is clear this is a young talent who has quality.
In the future I hope this player is given more time by Xavi to play.

yeah, ansu fati is an amazing player in this match alone he made 1 goal and 2 assists on Lewandowski and Dembele goal. fati is an active striker too, he often drops in the middle so it was a good decision by Xavi to sub Ferran Torres with Xavi in the 64th minute'.

Real Madrid is blowing like a hurricane this season as well. I thought they would suffer defensively in Casemiro's absence but on the contrary they played much more effectively, dynamically and with control. Tchouameni filled the defensive gap well. I can't find words to say about Modric's performance. His game vision, passing ability, physical strength are simply amazing. The king's crown does not fall to the ground.

Actually, the reason madrid let casemiro go was because he was old. Modric and kros may in the next season be gone. Kroos is 32 years now and will turn 33 next year. I think it is quite likely that he will extend the contract slightly. I don't think he is planning to transfer to another club anymore. He doesn't seem to be the guy who is now going to LA Galaxy or whatever. On the other hand he once said that he doesn't want to play way beyond his peak and then look like a grandpa on the soccer field. Two important personalities that soon need to be replaced. If they don't extend their contracts that would literally mean that Real Madrid is about to substitute almost the whole midfield with Kroos, Modric and Casemiro. Time for a new generation it seems.

I think that plan for the future has already been set in motion as we have seen some young players coming in this summer as a replacement for Toni kroos, Luka Modric and already departed Casemiro. The future of the club in terms of players is already been projected and work is in progress, hopefully more young players will come in. Like you said, its time for a new generation and Real Madrid are already preparing themselves for that era.

Great quick start from Barcelona which Lewandoski registered his first goal in the Spanish la liga but the celebration was cut shot by the equalizer of Real so'dad, since then it hasn't been clinical work in the attack from both team, I think if not for the Quick equalizer Barcelona would have had the motivation to even go for more goals and may have been up by two goals now.

The first minutes are spectacular. 2 goals in 5 minutes and Lewandowski 50 seconds after the start of the game. Aubameyang and Depay are not in the game and also Raphinha but Pedri (19 years), Balde (18 years) and Gavi (18 years) are playing.
