Yeah if this doesn't works they will in deep debt pit further than they are right now. Its kind of all-in gamble for them. They must win trophies and sell some players and free up as much as possible. Right now they have signed up lot in squad. For example they already had Dembele and they signed Raphinha also which is just waste of money when they already had the player in that position. Atletico de Madrid is know to get players that are good, but a bit past the peak of their career. My take on this one, and it is just an opinion, is that Ronaldo is not yet near the end of his career enough to be one of those old glories booked by Atletico. It might be good for Manchester United to have Cristiano Ronaldo on there team, especially with the fact that they just ran out of contract with Edinson Cavani and they've got very few options when it comes to there attack line, having Cristiano live the team would live the attack line in shambles.
