Real Madrid was at their best just because of this they won double in last season and good thing they have their squad strength still on because no big changes happened, but they have done some good changes in their bench power which is going to bring more strength because with current transfer window working it's not easy for them to stay at top and compete with Barcelona which are investing big amount on all ways of their squad and have few quality players which are at their peak of game which can bring good challenge for all teams in La Liga and Champions League but still it's not easy because having all stars in one team is also not working for few teams without better strategy.

Barcelona got some new players. This friendly match will be good enough to test the formation and strategies that Xavi might apply. Combining the current squad is certainly not easy, especially for those who are not familiar with Xavi's training pattern.
I hope Barca can show something different. they did pretty well after Xavi came in. and now i think squad is better. Even though it's only a friendly match, I'm sure the fans' enthusiasm is quite high.

I think that's right. Xavi brought a good difference to Barcelona's performance and he has proven that throughout his tenure last season.

This season some of their signings are looking very good especially after Kessie, Christensen, Lewandowski, Dembele and Raphinha were registered. The depth of the Barcelona squad is starting to get better even though some of these players were brought in without a transfer fee. There is hope this season for them about the title race, so I think Real Madrid should be wary of that.

There is a possibility for Edinson Cavani to join Villarreal in a short time. He was rumoured with the Italian club Monza before but now there is a bigger chance for him to sign for Villarreal. There are many strikers at Villarreal now actually. There are five centre-forwards now so I'm not sure if it is good for them to sign another one now. I don't think that they are thinking of Cavani in the starting eleven. They can do this by only preferring a formation that consists of two strikers.

This season will be very difficult for Real Madrid and Barcelona since literally every point counts to determine which team could get the lead and keep it till the end!
Real Madrid reinforced their defence line so far this window but Barcelona made signing to improve all lines especially their attack. If we take on consideration how good Barcelona played since Xavi joined them then I am not that sure that Real Madrid could lead this season.

Barcelona has spent the most money in La Liga this season. And they are adding some talented players to the squad. And so our expectations from Barcelona are high. A few days later Barcelona will play a friendly match against Real Madrid and I expect Barcelona to dominate the match. Perhaps Xavi will give all his star players a chance to perform.

Barcelona has talented player so more is expected from them, Lewandowski has even promised that he will help Barcelona to win trophies and looking towards that and expecting a lot from the team. If Barcelona were able to meet with their position with xavi as their coach, with these tough squad they have I believe they can win trophies.

Last year, Xavi proved to be a good manager, picking up the team from a bad place and raising it to a good level. They have very good signings this year Barcelona's Lewandowski, raphinha have become very important weapons on the offensive line in the future, so they can easily compete against other big teams. This year, the Barcelona team is very promising, the La Liga excitement that we missed is returning.

I think Real Madrid have a balanced squad,they are not building,it is Barcelona that is building,but the reason we are expecting Barca to perform really well next season is because of the players they've signed,and because of the way the coach is building the team.They have signed so many good players who are capable of competing for the Lalliga tittle and the Champions league.I think Barcelona will not just end up being Lalliga tittle contenders but also Champions league contenders.
And for the friendlies,it's just a friendly game so any team can win.
