No doubt how improvement from Barcelona after success get several player like Franck Kessié, Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski, but I am not sure what transfer activities did by Barcelona most perfect. They have forget what happen with defwnder area, I know he has success get Andreas Christensen with free transfer from Chelsea but this player not get regular position, beside Barcelona still have weakness on right and left side of defender area. I think will not any problem with Barcelona on forward bit how with their defensive how effective keep make cleansheet later on La Liga.

If Barcelona wants to get rid of De Jong so much, then let them pay him a penalty for breaking the contract, if they don’t want to pay, then let them shut up and fulfill the contract. I very much agree with this. The reason why Barca is pushing because they want to make their financial position better. And with Barcelona having financial problems, it is possible that they might have problem giving him better contract or at worse unable to pay him wages in full. De Jong currently at this point can't have both - to pay for the club and take the usual wages. He has to choose one. Yes he has right to make personal decisions but someday in future if situation remains the same then he has to make a decision then also.
Still I think Barca is kinda putting veil on some things with their financial situation. They want him to reduce his wages but can make world class signings? That's kinda put some questions. I am not so sure how much they are paying to the new signings but these new signings will for sure will be still putting a good amount of load in wages.

Lewandowski has already been bought, so the Barcelona management is pressuring De Jong to leave for United. If he does not agree to the transfer, then he will not be taken to the Barcelona tour in the USA. LOL. How I am annoyed by the disrespectful attitude of Barcelona towards the players - both old and new. I hope De Jong will show hardness and stay at the club (he has a contract and in fact he does not care about the problems of the club)

Barcelona are yet to confirm which players they will sell. I wouldn't be surprised if Xavi doesn't sell de Jong. Because de Jong is an important part of Xavi's match plan. Also, without de Jong, Barcelona's midfield will not be strong. Barcelona's defense is weak, if the midfield is not strong, Barcelona will not be able to have a stable performance.
