Barcelona needs to rebuild under Xavi no matter what and this is what they are trying to achieve by signing Leva and a few others even if they are doing it under a certain budget and rules. Also , reconstruction under Xavi won't be ready in 1 or 2 years but I do believe that once he manages to make a proper 11 for the team and make them constantly play for 1-2 years with each others , we might see Barca Tiki-Taka 2.0 and I think all the planet wants to see that magic once more even if personally I'm not a Barca fan.  Grin

LaLiga will start on AUG 12 : Osasuna vs Sevilla  Shocked that means 3 weeks from now  Wink

It's only a short time before La Liga starts. Even though Barça makes good transfers, I still think Real Madrid is ahead. I think the side with a high chance of championship will be the Madrid team. Barça will strive for the championship and this year will be the year of harmony between the players. I'm sure we will watch a stronger Barça next year when the team chemistry is established.

appreciation for barcelona. I didn't even think that Barcelona would actually buy Robert Lewandowski in the midst of Barcelona's financial crisis. But last night I was surprised that an agreement had been reached between Barcelona and Bayern Munich regarding Robert Lewandowski who had officially moved to Barcelona. this is big news indeed.
and will no doubt add strength to barcelona.

barcelona has overcome little by little its financial crisis problems, this has proven to be able to bring in lenwandwoski at a fantastic price, I think Laporta's performance to overcome its financial crisis has proven, even though it has to be paid dearly by selling 10% of its media broadcasting rights. and I think the inclusion of Lewandowski will make Xavi's work more optimal.

Finally Lewandowski goes to the barcelona. What do you think guys? will this give more opportunity for barcelona to be even stronger with him? https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1548068332804272129
Exactly and it should be. Barcelona has spent money to make Lewandowski move to Barcelona from Bayern Munich. That is why Lewandowski must contribute as expected to bring Barcelona much stronger than the previous season. Moreover, he wants to prove that he is better than Benzema. So, he should bring the club to qualify from the UCL group phase in order to move further to the next phase.
Yes, he should have paid what Barcelona paid for. But I still have to see how long it will take him to adapt to Barcelona, surely hopefully he can quickly do that. Because if we look at the game scheme that is applied between Bayern Munich and Barcelona, it doesn't have a significant difference. So as an experienced player he should be able to adapt quickly.

An agreement did occur for the transfer of Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona and Barcelona spent 45 million euros and added a bonus of 5 million euros, and a total of 50 million euros to be able to bring Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich.

Actually this is a heavy farewell for Robert Lewandowski because he has to leave the club that has made his name. for 8 years being a special moment for him, he managed to score 344 goals from 375 appearances in all competitions and Robert Lewandowski took part in bringing Bayern Munich to win a number of titles including the sextuple title in the 2019-2020 season.

Don't worry Barcelona still have some players ready to sell like De jong Barcelona just needs to reduce players
Lewandowski is sure to be their last deal of the season
Barcelona only wants to sell De Jong among their players who have high values. While most players have low values, it won't be enough to cover the costs of purchasing Lewandowski and Raphinha. So, even if they have some players to sell, most of them are just old players who have cheap prices. Do you think it is secure enough?

Lewandowski's contract with Bayern Munich expires next season. Barcelona can sign Lewandowski without spending extra money. So why will Barcelona spend so much money this season?
Lewandowski is getting older, Barcelona doesn't want to wait for the next transfer window once Lewandowski is already 34-35 years old.
I can understand why Barcelona is in hurry to sign him, Barcelona may target to win a title this season.

they obviously going to target at least one tilte, they have good players so far that forms a team who can for sure compete for La Liga, but i wouldn't say the same thing about champions league, it's tough for them to do it now with a whole new look for their team.

It would be very interesting if these two players competed against each other and prove who is on the top scoreboard
At least as to replace Messi because in recent seasons no barcelona player has taken a place on the scoreboard
They are both in old age and nearing retirement but I know Lewandowski will need time to adapt to the new league

Manchester City seem unlikely to sell Bernardo Silva to Barcelona. Pep Guardola still see him as an important part of the team. Barcelona still don't stop even though they have spent at least 100 million euros already this summer. It looks like they have a huge transfer budget despite being in big debt at the same time. Even when they sell Frenkie de Jong they will be in a better condition for transfers. We don't know if this transfer will happen for now.

It is ridicolous that America has banned a man like Xavi that is known all around the world, he is a VIP and doesn't deserve this treatment.  Roll Eyes

My big curiosity is anyway to see how he will adapt his game to Lewandoski, I think that this year at this point Barça could seriosuly compete against Real Madrid !
There are several reasons why he was banned and it's not referring to VIP or anything because that's the rule of America and I won't have an opinion on that because they also do their job well according to their SOP.

As for Xavi and Lewandowski they have known each other before and they have experienced playing even as opponents and I think Xavi already has plans for adjustments regarding Lewandowski.

Barcelona are yet to confirm which players they will sell. I wouldn't be surprised if Xavi doesn't sell de Jong. Because de Jong is an important part of Xavi's match plan. Also, without de Jong, Barcelona's midfield will not be strong. Barcelona's defense is weak, if the midfield is not strong, Barcelona will not be able to have a stable performance.
Barcelona seems not ready to lose any player, they are probably not selling any player.  Grin
De Jong is a good midfielder. He is young, experienced, and talented. But Barcelona has some other young midfielders, it won't be a huge loss if De Jong leaves. Keeping De Jong on the club may not be a good idea, how if its price drops significantly in the next transfer window?

Anyway, having a weak midfield doesn't mean having a weak defense as well. But without a good midfield, it will be hard to play effectively.

Having more players will burden Barcelona financial then Barcelona should have to sell several players it's just that Barcelona doesn't want to sell it at a low price
Until now I am still wondering how Barcelona overcomes this situation, when expenses are greater than income, will they repeat the mistakes like last season when they have to lose Messi.

I don't know if it's official or not but it's been reported that they have reached an agreement and Raphinha will now have a test at Barcelona.
This is done for Chelsea due to the fact that it was Barcelona who dared to pay Leeds 58 million euros or even 60 million euros if the add ons were added there.
This indirect way also shatters Lewandowski because I feel Barcelona's money is running out.

Raphinha has been officially announced by Barcelona and introduced at Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper with Joan Laporta as club president.
Raphinha's contract until 2027 with a release clause of 1 billion euros, Barcelona again added new players, after previously Barcelona managed
to bring in Franck Kessie and Andreas Christensen which were obtained for free. Raphinha's performance is indeed extraordinary with Leeds,
therefore Raphinha has become a bone of contention for many big European clubs. But in the end it was Barcelona who managed to get Raphinha,
because from the start Raphinha was more interested in joining Barcelona than Chelsea or Arsenal.

Regarding Lewandowski, it seems that Barcelona have not given up, therefore Barcelona are still trying to sell Frenkie de Jong to Man United,
so that Barcelona could have the money to buy Lewandowski. So Lewandowski still has a chance to move to Barcelona, after all the transfer market is
still open until early September, there is still time for Barcelona to get Lewandowski.
Another crazy release clause for one Barcelona player Cheesy
Yep, apart from not giving up Barcelona are now rumored to have made a deal with Bayern and soon Lewandowski will be in Barcelona's uniform.
You could say Barcelona are quite desperate in my opinion because they are now in a crisis storm but instead they continue to make deals with players which can indeed be said at a fairly high price.

My big curiosity is anyway to see how he will adapt his game to Lewandoski, I think that this year at this point Barça could seriosuly compete against Real Madrid !
This season Xavi Hernandez's capacity as a coach will be tested, the selection of player materials and preparation is very thorough, the arrival of Lewandowski and Rapinha will make Barcelona's attack line more varied and strong, we'll see how far this season Barcelona can compete with Real Madrid.
I would say Barcelona has the strongest attacking lineup in La Liga right now. They are stronger than Real Madrid. Lewandowski is a very experienced player. At the same time, Raphinha and Fati is young talented player. Moreover, Aubameyang, Torres and Dembele are all talented. Barcelona now has a lot of strikers. I look forward to seeing Xavi's formation in the next season.
This is honestly too much for Barcelona.
The good thing is they are bringing in Lewandowski now which in fact in this case a few hours ago I had doubts Barcelona would be able to bring in Lewandowski but I was wrong because indeed he could be at the Camp Nou soon.
But in this case it's actually still not a guarantee that they can be stronger now. I know and am very aware that indeed Lewandowski is a great player but his productivity has only been tested at Bayern and there could be two possibilities for his productivity in La Liga in the future.

I think Barcelona doesn't have a long-term plan. If they are sure Barcelona will sign Lewandowski why did they sign Raphinha? Will Barcelona need 6 experienced strikers? However, Barcelona wasted a lot of money. Even so, it will be a pity if they don't win the title next season. However, Xavi is a very experienced coach. He will make the team stronger.

Xavi Hernadez as the main coach of Barcelona was denied entry to America.
Barcelona was planned to take part in a series of tours in America, but the American side banned Xavi from entering so the Barcelona vs Montpellier match was cancelled.
It is possible that it is due to visa issues.
Yep, I saw this news and indeed he had administrative and passport problems to enter America.
Actually this is still not too much of a problem but indeed Xavi still has to have special permission to enter there considering there are problems regarding his current administration.
But I still feel like this will be resolved quickly considering they also have to go on tour and there are already clubs like Inter Miami, Madrid, Juventus and NY Redbulls to play against in the next few days.

Well, what can you say about that? In recent years, Barcelona has formed quite a mismanagement with a lot of bad and wrong decisions.
Honestly yes. Even in the news, it was mentioned that some previous management mistakes were too reckless in wasting money, both in buying players and other things. And moreover added with the fan anger, pandemic, and soon really rise up the financial crisis of that team. So that it really gives a very big impact to the recent management, especially regarding limited funds when buying players that are really needed.

But fortunately, at this time, Barcelona have got the player they are after, namely Robert Lewandowski. And this is the biggest transfer from Barcelona this season.

If he doesn't want to go as long as he has a contract, he won't go.  The final decision is definitely up to him and if Barcelona wants to sell him to Manchester United they don't have to abide by it.  If De Jong is out of the squad, it will be worse for Barcelona because they have to pay his salary and they can't get any benefit from him.  If De Jong wants to go, he will go, if he does not want to go, he will not go.
The problem at the moment is not far from the financial condition of Barcelona.
After having Raphinha and Lewandowski with a price that exceeds 100 million for these two players, it is clear that someone has to be sacrificed, I think and indeed one of the ones who can be sacrificed quite a bit at this time is De Jong, especially when Manchester United are still insisting on signing him.
At least with this they will find funds to cover all possibilities when something important happens regarding their finances.

Barcelona are yet to confirm which players they will sell. I wouldn't be surprised if Xavi doesn't sell de Jong. Because de Jong is an important part of Xavi's match plan. Also, without de Jong, Barcelona's midfield will not be strong. Barcelona's defense is weak, if the midfield is not strong, Barcelona will not be able to have a stable performance.

this bureaucratic issue he had with Xavi is something that barcelona and just like any team would have thought of before traveling to the US, few people remember that the US if the person visits Iran frequently (from what I could understand) that person needs of a special permit to enter the USA, barcelona as well as any team that was in that situation would not remember such a thing, so barcelona cannot be blamed. and on the financial issue of barcelona, in my opinion, if it will be resolved for them to win the champions league and la league frequently, only then they will attract more sponsors, there will be more companies wanting to advertise with them and for them to win the la league and champions league they need to have good players and to have good players they need to spend money on buying players
I think it's really obvious and annoying that barceloan decided to go with "screw it!" situation and they are just ignoring everything. They will be punished eventually, if they are not doing anything themselves and they are still spending, that means they don't care about the consequences.

Either there will be some harsh consequences and it will hurt them a lot, or it will not be like that at all and we are going to end p with a big problem. All in all there isn't a situation where it is risky for the team to go on like this, it's impossible to do that. They need to figure out a way to at least sell some players to make some money back in order to continue.
