Indeed, Barcelona have a good squad at the moment and there is even Miralem Pjanic who has also just returned from a loan spell but unfortunately, with this good squad Barcelona still have huge debts which make their financial situation still not good. But yeah, hopefully with their great squad next season they should at least be able to grab some titles to get a better income from there. But even though Barcelona have a good squad as long as Lewandowski is still not part of Barcelona, then Barcelona will still be difficult to win the Champions League title.
I think that the chances of Barcelona to win the Champions League will not change whether they have Lewandowski or not. But the squard of Barcelona is now very good, young eminent players with the prospect of development, here Barcelona deserves a lot of credit, they managed to keep a strong squad of players, so there are chances to compete for the championship in La Liga. I think it’s not worth talking about the Champions League, for this you need a squad much stronger.

I believe that De Jong and Memphis will be shown the exit door, plus there’re reports saying that over 11 player’s in total will also be told to leave the club, and that will become clear depending on who misses their preseason tour. Furthermore the key reason to get Lewandowski is that he guarantees goals, and that can help Barcelona win trophies hence it makes absolute sense why they’re targeting him.
I don’t know about the rest of the players, but De Jong is not so easy to point to the door - he has a valid contract and if Barcelona wants to break it, they will have to pay him a penalty (in addition to the 20 million they already owe the player). I don't think they can afford it financially. They cannot forcefully sell him either, the player's agent has already stated that De Jong wants to stay at the club and he does not agree to a pay cut.

Frenkie de Jong wants to stay in Barcelona. But due to financial problems, Barcelona decided to sell Frenkie de Jong. But now it doesn't look like Barcelona will sell de Jong right now. Because I heard rumors that Barcelona would raise funds for Lewandowski by selling de Jong. But with the addition of Raphinha, Lewandowski's chances of getting into the squad have dwindled. And so I think Xavi will not accept the decision to sell de Jong.

Barcelona is unlikely to sign Lewandowski this season. Barcelona does not have enough money. And it is difficult for Barcelona to raise the amount of money that Bayern Munich is demanding for Lewandowski. On the other hand, Barcelona has picked Raphinha from Leeds United. If they were still interested in Lewandowski, they wouldn't have Raphinha in the team now. Barcelona will probably sign Lewandowski for free next season.

It would be very interesting if Barcelona could do something like this next season. The price they're offering to get Lewandowski right now is pretty high, they really pay a lot for a football player of this age. Also, the financial situation of the team is still not very good at the moment.
But if they get such a star for free, Bayern will have done a lot of damage. I don't think they can do it Cheesy
With the transfer progress Barcelona has gone so far, Barcelona has done their best to have a strong squad for next season.  Most of the players Barcelona have are very talented and for sure Barcelona will perform very well better than the previous season. I still believe if Barcelona are unable to sign Lewandowski the team will still perform very well. The talk about Barcelona buying Lewandowski from Bayern Munich has taken lots of time , and Barcelona can't afford it. Barcelona just need to move on with what they have now.

Barcelona built a really good squad this year. If they get Lewandowski, the team will be complete. In midfield, Kessie will add a very good strength. Gavi, Pedri and De Jong are also in the midfield and it will be a nice jersey fight. On the defense they have Christensen, Araujo and Garcia, this year Pique may take less time. With Alba and Dest, they have a really good back line when you look at the team. In the forward, there are Fati, Raphinha and Torres, Dembele remains in the team, Aubameyang in striker and if Lewandowski comes that will be a though choice for Xavi. Let's not forget Memphis too. I think they can play for the championship with this squad.

After spending over $60 million to get Raphinha, is it still possible for them to get Lewandowski?
In addition, Xavi has several striker options including Aubameyang, Depay, Torres and new star Raphinha. If Lewandowski comes, how Barcelona's forward line will be built between such talented stars? At first I was pretty sure Barcelona would get Lewandowski but after see Raphinha, I was a little doubtful

I think it's still very open for Barcelona to get Lewandowski, especially according to the latest news that Barcelona and Man United have found
a price agreement for the transfer of Frenkie de Jong. The problem is maybe De Jong still wants to stay at Barcelona, but Barcelona management
has given an ultimatum if De Jong wants to stay then De Jong must want to reduce his salary, as Dembele did. But I'm sure De Jong will not
be willing to lower his salary, so most likely De Jong will choose to move to Man United.

If De Jong is sold automatically Barcelona have the money to buy Lewandowski. Moreover, Lewandowski continued to cause problems for two days
during training with Bayern. Lewandowski reportedly always arrived late in the two days of training, this was done by Lewandowski as an act of
protest against Bayern for preventing his departure to Barcelona. So in the end I predict Lewandowski will be let go by Bayern, but of course Barcelona
must also have the money to buy Lewandowski. So De Jong's move to Man United is the first step that must be realized first, for Barcelona to
bring in Lewandowski. It is certain that if Lewandowski is successfully brought in by Barcelona, there are players up front that Barcelona must sell,
because Barcelona have too many forwards. It is reported that Memphis Depay and Martin Braithwaite will be sold if it is true that
Lewandowski is successfully brought in by Barcelona.

I am thinking the same thing. Barcelona has already spent a lot of money to sign Raphinha. Their financial condition is not good. Now they won't spend money on Lewandowski again. Barcelona will probably bring Lewandowski to the team for free next season. In addition, Barcelona now have more strikers than they need. Aubameyang, Fati, Dembele and Torres are all talented. Now there is no need to add Lewandowski to the team for extra money.

Xavi has moved Barcelona in a better direction, I saw clarity in this team when Xavi took over the baton. Yes, although not completely stable, but their game has started to improve and looks tidier. Now how does Xavi apply a suitable strategy against them. For next season maybe they still can't compete more tightly in my opinion, it's just that the threat they will pose is quite real.
Totally agree with this because Barcelona will still be a threat to other teams next season with a better strategy development than Xavi, although Barcelona will also continue to fight in every game next season to win the title again and I think the result can also be better from this season because Xavi himself is still very optimistic in training the players at the Barcelona club.
Xavi has proven that he can lift Barcelona's form, after being managed by him in the second half of last season he was able to solve the problems that occurred and make Barcelona's performance last season, and now I have no doubts that next season he will give even better and also in the transfer market this time Barcelona is very aggressive in recruiting players to overhaul his squad so it is very possible for Xavi to be able to provide even better next season.

Barcelona is beating the odds and building a strong and better team, we can see Xavi has plans for the team and for the coming season. I believe Barcelona will do better and will be a tougher opponent in the La Liga next season and even be title contenders. The El Classico will be a joy to watch again because both Barcelona and Real Madrid are stronger and better and will put up a very competitive game again.
I do agree that Xavi definitely made Barcelona much better. Just remember the el classico they had with Xavi as manager last year, they won against Real Madrid 4-0 and not like Madrid played youth or bench players, they were with their best team and Barcelona still managed to beat them very easily.

This shows that if they let Xavi get at least some people that he likes, then it would be impossible to stop their improvement. They are going to end up with something special for sure. This is why I believe that we should not be looking for them getting any worse, they will fight to win the title this year, will be hard but not impossible for them. If they do that, paying the debt back will be easier.

Yes, Barcelona will definitely achieve something good in next season because their coach has brought in talented squads that will handle all the position very well to ensure they achieve what they want in this season and next season too. I believe,  Lewandowski and others players will really join hands together to improve the team to make their coach happy and their fans too by achieving victory from any competitions in next season. It is now Barcelona what to really demonstrate well, because their midfield and defense are very strong and secure for any player to achieve goals in this season and next season too.

Honestly, I actually agree more if they keep Frankie de Jong, because earlier if they sold him it would create a new gap in their squad. There is still time for them to consider the departure of Frankie de Jong, if they realize that I think they will do the best thing by turning down offers for their midfield player.
But the problem now is that barcelona need big money to cover their expenses, the only way to get big money is of course by selling de jong to another club, actually barcelona has reached an agreement with manchester united about the transfer of de jong but somehow it arrived currently the transfer has not been realized at all, it seems there are a few problems that Barcelona really need to solve with de jong so barcelona can quickly complete the deal with manchester united, indeed the sale of de jong will disrupt the stability of the club especially their midfield but there is no other way for Barcelona to earn money apart from selling de jong right now.
This is still an internal problem which is quite difficult to anticipate.
But on the other hand, if you look at them now, they don't seem to really care about it and even instead of being frugal, they actually pay Raphinha an amount that in my opinion is very large even above the market price.
Now it's just a matter of seeing if they are really struggling and only making things more difficult or if there is another trump card that Barcona has prepared to make his finances better again.

Barcelona are already a complete squad and ready to compete at levels in the coming season, and they really don't need to sign Lewandowski to prove that, Xavi will already be faced with a difficult task of selecting his ideal first eleven players especially up front with a lot of players available at his disposal, with the addition of Raphinha and Dembele's contract renewal Barcelona now have 7 first team players available for the frontline of the pitch, and I don't think Xavi would be playing two center forward, so where does that leave Aubemeyang who only joined last season as well and has been somewhat impressive to be fair, players available for the flank too aren't going to be an easy choice to make, having such luxury of players might be an advantage in terms of a good rotation policy, but Barcelona finances would be an hinderance, while De Jong is said to be insisting he would rather stay at Barcelona, but a salary reduction is not an option for him.

I haven't seen dembele's official status, did I miss it?
And regarding the possible departure of Frenkie de Jong, I think it has been prepared because they have bring Franck Kessie from Milan on a free transfer.
Barcelona management has extended Dembele contract, he is Barcelona player now.
Please check current players in Barcelona squad: https://www.transfermarkt.com/fc-barcelona/kader/verein/131

About Frenkie De Jong, it is better to sell him to gain big money. Barcelona needs a lot of money to balance their finance because they bought some new players and they need to think about their salaries. Moreover, Barcelona has Kessie on their squad, it doesn't bring big influence although Frenkie De Jong leaves the club.

And regarding the possible departure of Frenkie de Jong, I think it has been prepared because they have bring Franck Kessie from Milan on a free transfer. The defense line is also ready, Andreas Christensen was brought in from Chelsea on a free transfer as well. As far as I'm concerned they only spent money on Raphinha, that means there's still a chance that Barcelona will chase the new player this season.

You must have missed it yeah. Ousmane Dembele is officially a Barcelona winger again and you can check it out on Transfermarkt as well. It is good for Barcelona to have him back because his performance started to increase after Xavi came. I think he will reach a much better level under Xavi's management. His statistics last season was decent also. We can see some rivalry between him and Raphinha for the spot in the starting eleven.
