As far as I know, Barcelona has no good right-winger now. They actually only have Dembele in that position, now Dembele is a free agent. Raphinha is a good right-winger, he is young and very talented/skilled. But there are some top teams interested to sign him as well. If Barcelona doesn't want to pay his transfer fees at big amount of money, they can't sign Raphinha. Anyway, Barcelona is very urgent to sign a new right-winger now.

Yes they should keep Dembele, if you watch Barcelona match very well last season you would see that his contributions to the team was top notch, he understood Aubameyang very well, they connected so well because they have been together before, if eventually Raphinha comes to Barcelona he will take time to adapt and he will want to prove himself by scoring and in such processes he will be stingy in releasing pass as to when due, Dembele made lots of assist rather than scoring because there is no pressure on him, this I see Raphinha might not be able to do because there will be pressure on him to deliver

Barcelona should try to keep Dembele in the team. He is a talented player and he can offer a lot to the team. The financial problem which Barcelona is facing right now is obviously really troubling. But I don't understand how they can look for a player who will cost them 50 million. This is because they are not going to be able to pay even the full salary of the players that they currently have. Barcelona don't have a particularly weak squad as of now. And I think it is going to be better if they concentrate on how to keep the players that they have instead of trying to buy a 34 year old player for 50 million. I really hope that Dembele agrees to take a pay cut for Barcelona's sake.

Barcelona are in a dilemma now when it comes to a winger transfer. They are having problems on making a choice between Raphinha and Dembele now. They might think of re-signing Dembele after he has become a free agent. I don't think that they would be the only team that would like to sign him though but as far as I know Dembele was okay to continue playing for Barcelona. I'm not sure about Dembele honestly. Maybe Raphinha might be a better choice for them.

I disagree in my opinion their defense is weak except for araujo and maybe garcia the others makes lot of mistakes especially lenglet even pique is not the same as he used to be i think they need improvements asap, we are talking about barcelona here who used to compete in the champions league and win laliga i think there is a limit to what xavi can do with the current squad.

in my opinion barcelona's attack is very bad, they couldn't score many goals constantly and that's what hurt them a lot, of course their defense was bad but if they had a very strong attack then they could easily win many games in a good way easy. I read that PSG are also interested in Robert Lewandowski... I hope barcelona hurry up and make a better offer if they want to have Robert Lewandowski in barcelona because we all know that PSG is a team that has so much money that it looks like has unlimited money and if PSG want Robert Lewandowski they can easily have

Their attack was never so badly off. The problem is defense. Think about so many of such forwards makes me think a majority of them are going to get wasted on the bench.

I also wonder why Barcelona keeps stacking such many forwards with probably higher wages than average ones but continue to complain about financial difficulties on the other side.

Chelsea also needs a really good Striker because they did not score as much as they should have in the last season. And Chelsea will also be able to play well in the Champions League and the performance of Chelsea is also going to upgrade because of Cristiano Ronaldo if this deal actually ends up happening.

I believe that if they keep that relationship going, then it would make sense, but it is also a lot of money. I mean Barcelona certainly needs that money and if they can sell him then they could do a lot more, it would open up so much more for them. Every year (until the debt is paid) they will need to sell some players to make some cap for themselves and then they could do whatever they want after that, not unlimited of course but better.

This is why I understand why they want to get rid of him. But United shouldn't just take him because Erik wanted him, they should negotiate on the price a lot more down, De Jong looks like max 50 million type of player to me.

If he is willing to survive, of course he must accept a salary cut, but will he perform optimally if there is a salary cut? I think this is a complex situation on the other hand maybe De Jong really likes Barcelona so he wants to stay but in other words it is better to find another club and that is indeed the best choice, currently Barcelona are still waiting for another decision between Dembele and Rapinha even when Barcelona has not yet decided on a second contract, perhaps because of financial problems, so they think more about moving quickly in their transfers.

He will leave after Barcelona have paid off his salary arrears. De Jong actually wants to stay with Barcelona but seeing the financial crisis experienced by Barcelona, I think he will choose to leave in this transfer window. Manchester United has moved quickly in the hunt for De Jong because they have sent proposals to Barcelona twice but their offer has been rejected by Barcelona.

If De Jong officially leaves in this transfer window I think he is more interested in joining Manchester United than Chelsea because I think he will reunion return Erik at Manchester United. But if de Jong wants to play in the Champions League next season I think he will choose Chelsea.

So, the situation is De Jong does not want to leave Barcelona. And he also does not want to take a pay cut. But Barcelona can only afford him if he does take a pay cut. You know, there are a lot of other clubs which are willing to give him a lot more money if he does decide to move.

So, this is a complex situation and I think it is better if the player just moves. Obviously, it is not going to be helpful for Barcelona. However, if this player stays, I do not believe he will be able to produce his 100% because he will always be thinking about his salary.

pros and cons are scattered, many also say that if de jong really loves barca then he must help barca by going to MU and barca getting money from his transfer. with de jong's ability, I'm sure he will be able to adapt quickly at United. Currently, Barca's financial situation is uncertain, so staying at Barca in my opinion is not a wise decision either.
