Barcelona is already had few good and quality players with few coming as free agent and few have price tag is enough for them in this season.

Robert Lewandowski saga is already in the middle of rumors and now Ronaldo is also involved, which is surely just hype and nothing serious. Barcelona already in talk about few youngsters which are fitting in their long term planning so with this all for me nothing reality in this transfer just media hype.

If this is true then I would say it would be a betrayal for Barcelona fans and Messi fans. Koeman and Laporta did not keep Messi in Barcelona because he is older and his wages are too much. So why are they interested in taking 38-year-old Ronaldo to the team? At the same time Barcelona is now in financial crisis. I think this is just a rumour. Laporta never does that.

But if this rumor turns out to be true. then this will really be surprising. And I think Cristiano Ronaldo is better not to be at Barcelona. because Barcelona fans will compare Cristiano Ronaldo with Messi. Actually, I still hope that Barcelona doesn't make this too difficult, especially with their current condition, which is still quite difficult from a financial point of view. but apart from that it is possible they also have their own views for De Jong and want to keep it up to the end.

My guess is that barcelona is looking for a backup funds to clear off the debts at least a piece of it.

So they will not have to sell their rising star de jong , there is plenty of time though till the transfer window closed , both parties seems to be aware of each situations.

There is no denying that Frenkie de Jong played quite well as a Barcelona midfielder, I think selling him and signing a striker, doesn't that weaken Barcelona's midfield?

There are still various news about Frenkie de Jong's situation now. Sometimes we hear like he is joining Manchester United soon but sometimes it is just the opposite. Maybe they would still sell him if they reach an agreement. Barcelona have Aubameyang, yes but they still want a solid striker like Lewandowski too. Their job is really difficult about that deal though. Bayern Munich might manage to keep him still at the end of the transfer window.

Of course this is far from being 100% true. Barcelona got ride from some wages but they still have to go easy and not pass the limit with all new signing and potential ones eventually.
As you see, De Jong is not in, because his departure is very high the next season.

I have heard like Milan couldn't register Kessie to the team for some reason. But it doesn't make sense to me. Because he played for them last season in the end. His performance wasn't bad too therefore I would expect them to prioritize him for that position again. It looks like Milan didn't want him at the team anymore and just released him. Barcelona were really fast about going for him and finishing the deal after he became free agent. Kessie would strengthen their midfield more.
