So here are two new faces at Barcelona this season who were brought in for free from their respective old teams. It seems that Barcelona are hunting for more free-transfer players in the market because they don't have much money. But signing both "Kessie and Christensen" is still a pretty good choice considering both are still productive age for a player.

The arrival of these two players is expected to help Barcelona's defense and midfield this season and I really hope they become important players at the club from their first season. Christensen may be plotted as a replacement for Pique who is already quite weak at defender, while Kessie is expected to help Busquest more rest throughout this season. If De Jong stays then I think Barcelona's midfield will be good enough for this season where De Jong - Pedri - Kessie are expected to make the team more balanced in midfield.

Andreas Christensen move to Barcelona after his contract expired with Chelsea. The blues didn't seem to extend his contract since it's was a new system under Todd Boehly's and that's was the reason Christensen have to leave. The free agent deal will be valid until June 2026, we would see as things will go for Andreas who might find difficulty in starting Barcelona games. He's a defender, but one thing he need to put in mind that, laliga is not like Premier league where if you're not in a better shape, they would still use you, over here in Spain, onced you're not fit. You will be drop out of the squad.

I'm sure Barcelona won't feel comfortable selling De Jong just because they managed to sign Kessie from Milan for free. De Jong is expected to stay, as well as Dembele who is now a free transfer. Regarding Dembele, a proposal can still be considered instead of choosing another team and continuing his career. There may be individual interest in Dembele's camp in this situation, it is the salary value for his contract that the deal with Barcelona fell through.

Barcelona coach needs to be applauded for this great signing, he sealed the deal so first even as the club is facing financial crisis. Kessiel is a great player and for Barcelona to convince him to sign a four-year deal means a lot to the club and its fans and also means that the future of De Jong would not be guaranteed in Barcelona again because kessiel will become a replacement for him. From the look of things, I think Barcelona will accept the offer from Manchester United to sell De Jong to them that's if the striker agrees to come to Old Trafford knowing that he will be in the Europa League next season.

You're right, it's best for him and also for Barcelona. De Jong was better off getting a chance to make money in his youth and by joining to Manchester United he will earn a very well deserved advantage .
