Dani Alves should have been sent from the team and he is leaving now. This is the right decision without doubt. He is too old for Barcelona now. Barcelona are in a new phase to make the average age of the team as low as possible. They are building a whole new team now. As long as they don't need the old players anymore they should try to sell them as quick as possible. I'm really excited about this new creation of the team and it can be very powerful in time if the right steps are taken on this road.

Marcelo will be recognized as Madrid legend especially his achievement and loyality for Madrid and for the replacement of him i'm sure Ancelotti already thinking about it but last season Ferland Mendy has did a good job in Marcelo position and i think he had impressive performance during play as wingback but besides that Madrid probably will looking for another players to covered Mendy position just in case if someday Mendy performance decrease and the names such as Antonio Rüdiger or Marcos Alonso linked to them but indeed Alonso isn't young anymore and Madrid have to find young players in that position for regeneration

Sure, 39 years is retirement. He is a good defender. But the current age may be that he will find it difficult to compete. This decision actually also gave consequences because Barcelona had to buy new players. The problem right now is the state of their money. They don't have much money and there is still a lot of debt. They sold De Jong, but they haven't obtained a deal yet.
I read, if Barcelona are interested in Cesar Azpilicueta, from chelsea. But he's 32 years old maybe not young but experienced and still good for another 2 or 3 years. As for young players, maybe it's worth the price. If they want to buy players who are already ready then it will probably be more expensive.
