Many had expected and possibly hoped that Mbappe would make the move to Real Madrid. Last season I wouldn't do it if I were him, as PSG seemed to have a lot more potential than Madrid. Now the roles seem completely reversed. Madrid have won a lot including the Champions League 4x in the last few years, and PSG have never won the title once. They were also good for Messi and lost to Munich in the final. If Zidane is PSG coach, there is a good chance that he will stay. I don't know if Mbappe wants to go for the big money or if he wants to win something with PSG.

Do not tell me that Mbappe could have gotten anything even remotely similar from any other team in the world? No team has that kind of money, only PSG had it, and maybe Newcastle nowadays, but we all know he wasn't going there anyway.

Actually in this case Dani Alves was good he left at that time and when he came back last season this would not bring any results and indeed Barcelona's condition was also quite difficult so even though he didn't want to but it would be better if he left again.

There is no doubt that Dani Alves is currently still optimal in providing bait to young players at Barcelona to prefer El Barca style of play. Such disrespect for a legendary player. And Barcelona are too arrogant trying to solve their financial problems at the expense of the players.

But the thing about pique is right. I don't think anyone should make a big deal out of it. He is a lot older now and he should not be considered as the first team player, especially in a team like Barcelona.

Another thing is his skills have surely deteriorated over the years and now I think it is not best for him either to hope that he will be the first choice of the Barcelona squad.

I hope that whatever Barcelona chooses to do, they do it with caution because I don't think they are in a position right now to buy players who cost anything more than 30 to 40 million.
