Barcelona had an incredibly great second half of the season, Xavi arrival at the club was key and he did made some changes at the club that translate into results. I wasn't sure Barcelona would make top four going by their performance at the first half of the season. Xavi tried to reform the tic-tac-toe tactics and that has been at the core of Barcelona's transformation. Xavi was able to unite the squad he did came in with a reputation but he gained the trust and respect through results, not empty promises.

Suarez seems too old for Atletico. Looking for a replacement would be better. even Suarez is now starting to be rivaled by Martin Correa. In 36 games he scored 12 goals. drew with Suarez who played 37 and scored 11 goals.
if Suarez is no longer extended it might be worth it for Atletico to look for a young striker they could turn into a long term asset. Atletico will also have to consider some players who are rarely used. there are even some that have never been played.
