Luuk de Jong is definitely not at the level of Barcelona now. He is already on loan too which means Barcelona can get rid of him easily in this summer. He scored only 6 goals in 21 games and I assume that Barcelona signed him on loan just to have an alternative striker in the team in case their main attackers get injured or so. They have Aubameyang now and his performance so far has been breathtaking. He scored 20 goals in 38 games in total this season. But having him only is not enough of course so I also support them on the mission to sign Lewandowski. And Depay had better play as a winger or be sent from the team.

I would also get rid of Luuk de Jong and Depay if I were Barcelona. They were only obtained because Ronald Koemand was a trainer at the time. He thought he could do magic there and started living beyond his means. Frenkie de Jong might also leave. Barcelona needs money, but you need to be able to keep your best players. They do have a good young squad at the moment, they should definitely be able to compete for the title next season. This season Xavi has made the most of it by qualifying for the CL.

The way Barcelona had started this season. I think the second position is really good. I thought they are not even going to finish in the top 6, let alone the top 4.
so, I believe they have done a good job even though they did not get any trophies this season. but right now Barcelona is changing under new management and I believe they will surely get some trophies in the next season, you also need to remember that Barcelona is going to play in the Champions League.
