Bringing Messi back to Barcelona would be very foolish now. Xavi is trying to build a young dependent team. With this, Barcelona will become stronger in the future. Messi is now 34 years old. He's definitely a good player now, but Xavi is definitely looking for young talent. At the same time Messi's wages are very high. Barcelona does not seem to be spending so much money now.

It would be great to see Messi back at Barcelona. At least, I think a lot of people want that. The only question is whether this is contractually permitted. Agree with what you said.
Until now there are at least some young players who are indeed quite good in their current prospects such as Gavi, Ansu, Ferran Torres and Araujo they all still have quite good potential in my opinion now.
But things like this have to start now if they are to make these players develop. at least give them more chance to play this will be good for them.
Even though it can't keep up with its heyday which has ended but this can be a frightening specter for Barcelona in the future

If real wins UCL today, that means that they are going to actually have a great financial situation all over again. We need to remember that they became so dominant because they have won the league and the UCL so many times in a row recently, and that allowed them to earn a lot, and they haven't made many silly transfers neither, they were going pretty well. Al lof this combined made Real so much better, sort of a Bayern/PSG situation but in La Liga. In order for other teams, including barcelona, to get closer they need to do financially solid decisions and not only that, they need to do something well both in the league and in europe to make that money. Its not going to be easy to catch to Real any time soon.

It's true I also think so, Real Madrid will again get a rival that has been difficult for them. This season Real Madrid are so comfortable in the standings without any significant pressure that makes their position really threatened. Barcelona's only goal this season was to qualify for the Champions League. Because they were out of 10 in the points table. They had a very poor performance. There are not any reason for Xavi Hernandez failed for secons time with Barcelona because next season begin as the manager for Barcelona with the early league. He has controlling about new player window transfer and I think if next season still failed big mistake made by Xavi. I see Barcelona still not stopping how to be active on window transfer and get several new player for next season. Have chance to get Lewandoski I think give chance for Barcelona can dominance than Real Madrid.
