Barcelona behind the top 4 is a tragedy more than a surprise, its really sad for every football fan to see Barcelona in such situations and im really looking forward to what the administration will do to avoid more downfall for the team in the next season

It's just that Real Sociedad, Sevilla and Betis do not have the margin of safety financially and in terms of the selection of players that Real Madrid, Atletico and Barcelona have. But it was still nice to see Villarreal managing to win this tough game by a score like this. It isn't an easy work to do against a this much powerful Barcelona. Aside from that, Villarreal deserve to be appreciated for their general performance during the whole season. They would have been better in the La Liga too if they'd been able to focus on it more. But they had an amazing journey in the Champions League.

Well yeah can't fully blame on how villareal finished 7th instead the top 4 to get another champions league ticket ... they are indeed got a superb season in champions league by reaching the semifinal .. even nearly get into the final if only liverpool didn't make that come back .

Overall is not really bad but finished at 7th is sure a huge blow for a team that used to finish on top 4.

That's a big wast for Villarreal and i really expected that they can reach better positions with such level but unfortunately for them everything goes to the wrong direction, but generally the club is good and i think they can do better next season

Your are correct Villarreal is Focused more on the Champions League with the hope of lifting it and also getting an automatic ticket to the champions league next season.They were not doing well in Laliga but they were performing well in their matches in the champions league, it's unfortunate they lost in the semi-final of champions league and they couldn't make to the top 4 in Laliga too.

If it is not by management as you claimed, they should have used that way to climb the top 4 in the beginning but they were struggling throughout the season and it was clear that they didn't have the balls to do what other teams were doing.

Villarreal have a pretty good squad, just look at their midfielder (pau torres) who is a bone of contention for many premier league teams. who knows what will happen to villareal in the european league next season, but i still choose villareal as one of the favorite teams to win the european league next season (from la league).

The both teams have safely secured their place in the Champions League next season. While, Sevilla had a terrible season imo, Although, they ended at the 4th position. But their performance were unstable throughout the season.

Villarreal's defense was solid in this match and the Champions League match with a big club gave a good effect for Villarreal I think because they can know the benchmarks and create momentum against big teams.

It's a disappointing result we saw from Barcelona even though they don't need the point for anything, Yes they have made it to the Champions League next season but they are supposed to use the final game to entertain and thank their fans for standing by them even after the ups and downs they faced this season, this will give their supporters and fans more doubt next season because Barcelona performance was too poor against Villarreal who has not been good so sometimes now.

You are that is what Barcelona is supposed to do, they wouldn't have allowed Villarreal to win the game, Barcelona should have taking the game serious to entertain their fans and to make them happy to celebrate the last matche of team for the season. It would have been better if the result was a draw.

They played really well actually for possession but they didn't seem to have any kind of motivation to score there and indeed it only showed their passing and a few shots on goal.
On the other hand I really like Villarreal's defense in this match considering they came up with a solid defense and they only created a few chances there but managed to maximize them well.

Atlético always survive, but the start of this season is bad for that team, it's been 3 seasons the top 4 hasn't changed, I'm more interested in Betis they've been consistently collecting points for 2 seasons, they just haven't been able to compete for the UCL place with the big teams at there. Maybe next season they will start thinking at least to be in UCL.

Three points is a non-negotiable price for a team that is still struggling to survive in La Liga, whatever happens they have to play hard for a win. Losing the last game could see them relegated to League 2, it would be very painful not to take advantage of the last chance. Three teams are still fighting to be able to appear in La Liga next season, between the three Cadiz have a good chance because Alaves are a not very strong team.

In this match only Granada did not perform well and Cadiz performed so perfectly which saw them lift in the dying minutes before the end of the League season.

It's a shame indeed for Granada but according to what was discussed earlier now it's just a matter of how they play there and Granada in this case did not play well which made them quite difficult and had to give up their position for Cadiz
