Sevilla drew with Valencia by 1-1 yesterday. This was not an unexpected incident for me honestly. Because bookmakers also were waiting for this to happen and we weren't surprised. Sevilla would have won this game actually if they were able to keep their score advantage but they couldn't. Now, they are four points away from Real Madrid in the league standings and they both have played the same amount of games. We will see if Real Madrid will continue to make mistakes and give a chance for Sevilla to take the lead in the future.
The difference of four points I don't think is that much distance and it still looks good for Sevilla too, it's a shame Sevilla didn't win in this match because I predict Sevilla can win because Valencia themselves are not strong enough. After all, the title candidates are already very close to Real Madrid but with this close distance, I will still assume that Sevilla have done better this season than the previous season.
Although it looks like Real Madrid is hard to beat by other competitors but there is still a possibility that they will drop a few more points in the next match considering they still have a few games to play before the end of the season. I think it was already obvious that Sevilla would have a big difficulty in defeating Valencia away. And that was the case at the end of the game also. Sevilla scored earlier in the game and got ahead by 1-0 actually. But Valencia answered them right before the end of the first half. And in the last moments, Valencia got a red card but this didn't change anything. They still succeeded in getting a draw against Sevilla. And considering the effort of each team, this result seems quite fair.
This is a value bet for Valencia too of course, but I can't see them not letting in 2 goals to Sevilla so unless they can score 3...
Home advantage in the laliga league doesn't really matter much. It's in Spanish league where a good team plays away and ends up disgracing the home team with goal margins. Sevilla is more fit for the 3 points the closet to competing with Real Maldrid. Valencia on the other hand is playing home has a balanced goal difference between games won, drawn and loss. It's more worthy taking the risk for Sevilla to win So yes I did my numbers in my head and put money on Sevilla, but then the game ended up a miserable draw. Valencia actually scored both goals too lol (own goal). Impossible to make any kind of prediction honestly, these days, and I'm actually doing worse in the league I thought I was more familiar with.
The result hurts Sevilla for sure, hopefully they don't look back on this as a mistake.

Obviously it was a head to head result with Sevilla domination and also, if we consider with the results so far this season Sevilla are still promising a win rather than a draw. Sevilla itself is still the second best team when playing away, it can be a strong motivation for them to continue trailing Real Madrid at the top of the standings. Several times Valencia have lost and drawn when they played at home against mediocre teams and with that, I believe Valencia is not strong enough to hold Sevilla this time, so I personally believe that Sevilla will win here.
Even if sevilla wins, there is really nothing they could to catch a team like Real Madrid. All these people who want to see Sevilla to win the league are probably Barcelona fans, because I do not believe that there are this many sevilla fans in bitcointalk. The first half of the match have ended. I was waiting for Sevilla to probably make the score 0-2, but they couldn't secure another goal until the first half ended. Although Sevilla was dominating. But, Valencia equalized the score at 44 minutes with an awesome goal . With the present condition, I don't think winning the match will be easy for Sevilla, because Valencia will probably try their best not to lose, and might play the second half defensively.
