I think Xavi has done wonders with the squad. Barcelona are not in their strongest positions, but with what he's been given, Xavi is doing a great job in bringing the results. Even though they lost, they played really well against Real Madrid.

I think have enough player on forward position after get Ferran Torres and Barcelona have many option except have Luuk De Jong and Memphis Depay, just weakness of Barcelona in this season is defender area and Pique have over I think. Need get new player on defender position to replace Pique because he is not strong for facing team when attacking counter, He is always quite far behind when the opposing team builds a counter-attack, I think it's time for Pique to be on the bench and prefer young players who have good stamina to fill defensive positions at Barcelona.

In the present situation, the Barca forward is so far okay, now they need some time and need to get players in the defense and maybe a defensive midfielder. Pique is aging and so are Busquets so they need replacements asap.

I expected Atletico Madrid to win the game. Moreover, they were the first to secure a goal 62 minutes in the second half. I literally thought they would defense the goal to the end of the game. The end of Atletico Madrid's journey in this year's Spanish Super Cup. They have to admit defeat to Bilbao. Actually I expected Atletico Madrid to appear in the final against Real Madrid. But here's what happened.
My prediction is that Real Madrid will come out victorious, considering they are almost superior in all aspects to Bilbao. However, I expect an interesting game from the 2 teams in the final.

If Memphis now leaves, that would mean a further downgrade to their squad's quality as they most likely won't be able to replace him besides signing further world stars.

Has chance for Memphis Depay leaving Barcelona trough under Xavi Hernandez as head coach he looks difficult to be starting eleven player and most ever Luuk De Jong become starter eleven right now. I think Juventus have announce interested with Memphis Depay and I think if have good values asking by Juventus will easy for Barcelona to sell him, about who will replace Memphis Depay position if leaving Barcelona I think Ansu Fati have fit right now and will be permanently as left winger position. Also it shows that their scout teams and academy work very effectively to find talented youth players and grow them up for the club.

La Masia can be a most famous academy in Spain but Athletic academy does it jobs very well too.

Just because a team plays only a certain nationality (or even area) players doesn't mean that they are playing "the real football" type of situation, it just doesn't mean that at all. It is classic that we are talking about something that is just a limited version of football and that is not really meaning anything in this day and age.

I don't know if Bilbao is a worthy opponent for Madrid but if Madrid underestimate Bilbao of course something surprising can happen the key is Bilbao can't get space so their game doesn't grow.

Yes I find ATM slightly easier opponent for Real Madrid than Bilbao. Of course Real Madrid can win big vs Bilbao but that team resists well vs top teams. In their games in La Liga RM won twice vs them with 1 goal difference.
You cannot predict Bilbao performance but we all know how bad ATM is this season.
