With this match, Betis will be playing 1 more game than Sevilla and Real Madrid so the gap might be more than 3 goals at the end.
Betis just lost this game at the last minutes and it was unfortunate to their good record so far. Anyway Bilbao is a good team and teams usually struggle vs it.

They are also losing points against a relatively weak team. Only Real Madrid's performances are regular. Sevilla are playing well now but they don't seem to be able to win the title. The main problem that caused Barcelona's performance to decline was the poor financial condition so far. They need to get some decent replacement for their previously departed players like Rakitic, Suarez, Messi and a few others. Barcelona lost quite a lot of experienced players in their squad with Koeman coming in as the previous coach, so Xavi was forced to reshape his current team which includes many talented young players. It took a lot of time because Xavi had to give this player a lot of minutes to be mentally strong and competitive.

But this of course has given advantage for other team such as Real Betis, Vallecano and several other teams to get ahead of Barcelona, which had previously dominated Laliga for quite a long time with Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. Maybe Barca will show their form again after yesterday's tough win vs Elche, but they are no match for Real Madrid this season in the title race.

It looks to be more competitive because they Atletico Madrid surprisingly did not play too well. Barcelona collapsed in surprise of all. It give chances to other clubs to take over the third position of Barcelona and make La Liga looks to be more exciting. Exciting in a chaotic season but in long run it is not good for La Liga. They must have Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid at their best in order to fight with other clubs from other nations, leagues in Champions League.

Barcelona did not in this race since start or even before it because they lost Messi. Even with Messi, they still don't have good chance to win in the race. With Messi, they can join in title race but they will be in third position after Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.

Atletico Madrid are not better than Barcelona if you judge from the results of their last 5 match. Barcelona won 3 times, lost 1 and drew 1 while Atletico Madrid lost 3 times and won 2 times in the last 5 match. Barcelona's performance based on statistics can be said to have increased compared to Atletico Madrid, which seems to be on the decline. Barcelona is only 2 points adrift of Atletico Madrid, so there is still a possibility that these two teams will end the season in the top 4 shifting Real Betis and Rayo Vallecano.

Thankfully, both of my bets won yesterday. I didn't bet too much money but tried my luck by betting on Barcelona and Sevilla to win their games. Especially the Sevilla game made me worried more. Because it was a very close and competitive game. And I wouldn't be surprised if the game ended in a 1-1 draw. But Sevilla made me relieved by getting ahead in the 88th minute and won by 2-1. I trusted them considering Atletico's poor form lately and I'm happy about doing it.
