It's 3-2 in the end and a win is a win, 3 pointer. Barcelona played well and as I expected, they have rose to the top 3 positions. Now it's a competition between Atletico, Real and Barcelona, like it always was. I'd love to see atletico win this year as they are the most consistent team with a very few trophies.
You know what, I'm happy to take 4-3 and 5-4 instead of 1-0. For me, as long as we are able to score again, Messi is on song and our other fringe players settle into the team, I think we need to start playing like this and be more adventurous and apologize to the defence later:)
@Slow Death yeah, I admit we aren't the favs and I actually prefer we don't win it and instead spend the time to rebuild, but that's not to say we don't have the chances!

All teams have an equal chance of winning the championship. At this stage all teams are equal in strength and perhaps Atletico Madrid is a more balanced team. But this is now. And no one knows what will happen next. The strongest will win.
Barcelona is going to win at Bilbao. Doesn't say everything, but that victory was more than welcome. I just have my doubts whether they can keep that up. Gap with Atletico Madrid is huge.

i don't think Barcelona are thinking about winning the title, they just wanna guarantee a place in the champions league next year, they need a miracle to win La liga this year.They are 1-3 ahead now against Bilbao
i am a real madrid fam but i must say that there are still a lot of games left to finish the La Liga and barcelona still have many chances to be champions. if they constantly win the games and atletico and real madrid have some defeats, barcelona can be champion. knowing that we are in a time of pandemic Is very premature to say that barcelona has no chance of winning La Liga, because in this time of pandemic any club can be harmed, imagine Atletico Madrid having some important player infected and losing games and barcelona winning the games ? for that reason I think that barcelona has many chances

Their engine turned well this time it seems, in addition, their next games are relatively easy, except maybe Granada that might be tricky. Otherwise they have a good chance to keep their actual position at least.
No game seems easy for Barcelona this season until they have played and won it full time 
and this has to happen minus forgetting than Messi must have played well in that match through providing an assist or scoring a goal.Otherwise, it was a great match for Barcelona. It sort of brought back the memories of Vintage Barcelona with Messi at the front seat.
Today is a good day for Barcelona as they picked up 3 points from Bilbao. I didn't expect them to win so I didn't place any bets on the game, at all. So when I saw them behind by 1-goal at the beginning of the match, I was not surprised since he felt like the Barcelona we have known this season. I'm also glad to see Messi get on the scoresheet. There's been so many bad press about his performance lately. Overall a nice game by Barcelona but they still have areas where they are lacking.
Really solid game of Barca against decent team, its' worth to mention that we havent't won at San Mames 3 years in a row. And tonight Barca scored really nice goals. First gaol, what a pass by Messi to de Jong and goal by Pedri. 2nd goal, nice backheel pass by Pedri and simple but great goal by Messi. 3rd gaol was also not bad

It's been a while I saw or heard this kind of statement about this player or the Barcelona team. Messi with the brace today ways just a reminder of what he used to be but if we are to face the facts, his impact has dropped drastically to a significant point and it was too sudden than sooner. We just hope he continues in this newly found form else, Barcelona is still in for trouble and a better replacement for Messi although, he (Messi) and Ronaldo are irreplaceable players in football but, someone to measure up for Messi in Barcelona should be looked for.

Barcelona are 2-1 ahead against Athletic Bilbao right now. In the first half, Barcelona were too dominant. I. Williams scored Bilbao's first goal and they got ahead 1-0 in the first minutes of the match. But Barcelona responded them with 2 goals (Pedri and Messi) and they finished the first half 2-1 ahead. I still do not trust Barcelona much and I think Bilbao can still equalize the score and get at least one point here.

this is an excellent opportunity for barcelona to get closer to the top 3 places. if barcelona misses this great opportunity then this season they can be well below the first 3 places and i think everyone in barcelona knows that.
I think there are many other possible opportunities for Barcelona to be in the top four at the end of the season, because the most important thing for Barcelona is to keep getting tickets to CL. I hope this happens, Alaba has turned down a new contract offer from Bayern Munich. However, reportedly Barcelona and Manchester United are interested in signing him. The last news I read, the agent from Alaba has even spoken to Barca. But we know that Barca is going through a financial crisis, so I think it's still Manchester United who are Madrid's rivals. But Manchester United is not at UCL this time, so Madrid have more chances.
Both Barcelona and Real Madrid are in troubles with financial conditions and results in leagues. I don't see the reasons for Alaba to leave a strong club and join a troubling club without any big financial incentive. That I don't think Barcelona and Real Madrid will be able to give a good contract for Alaba.Manchester United has better conditions than Barcelona and Real Madrid. They are getting good results after the transfer of Bruno Fernandes and with Alaba, they will have another great piece to finish their squad. Man Utd. also can satisfy the salary request from Alaba. Also I think Alaba can adapt to play good in Premier League.
So long story short we are talking about Barcelona and Real Madrid here, they have nearly endless amount of money, of course they do not want to pay too much or get in financial trouble too much, but if they see a good deal, they will definitely get into it, there is no way they will back up, they are not in that bad situation. United is the same situation of course, they are one of the best clubs for brand awareness and they keep making a lot of profit thanks to it, and they can still get any player they want for any money as long as the player agrees.
Barcelona will win against Athletic Bilbao and make their point 31 tonight. Athletic Bilbao has a strong defensive line and especially at home they don't concede goals much. Barcelona may have trouble finding first goal but if they find it early, the match would be easier for them.
