Villarreal are going to play an away game against Celta Vigo this week. Villarreal are the 4th with 29 points and Celta Vigo are the 8th with 23 points. Villarreal lost just 1 game and got 2 wins on their last 5 matches. Celta Vigo got only 1 loss (which was to Real Madrid 2-0 away last week) and got 3 wins on their last 5 matches. I. Aspas is injured and it is a very important loss for Celta Vigo. Because he nearly scored half of the goals of the team in the league so far (He scored 9 goals in 17 matches). P. Alcacer is injured at Villarreal. Villarreal won here last year 1-0. I think Villarreal are the dominant team here and they can win this.
But don't forget that Atletico Madrid often fails to get the trophy just before the competition ends. So, personally, I am still not really sure if Atletico Madrid can win the La Liga trophy this season. Real Madrid is in second place and there are still many remaining matches. Real Madrid has a chance to overtake Atletico in the top position if Atletico players lose their focus and motivation at any time.
I remember them (Atletico) winning La Liga on 13/14. Additionally, they were runers up on 17/18, 18/19. Atletico is a club that can always bother Barca and Madrid's domination in La Liga. I don't close my eyes if their chances are still the same. They still have a lot of games to play but the next meeting can decide the champions and even La Liga winners. But I still support Madrid to win. My reason is because Madrid are still chasing players to improve their weaknesses. The latest news is that Madrid want to buy Alaba from Munich. 
Barcelona will win against Athletic Bilbao and make their point 31 tonight. Athletic Bilbao has a strong defensive line and especially at home they don't concede goals much. Barcelona may have trouble finding first goal but if they find it early, the match would be easier for them.
I don't expect a surprise here, just take Barcelona bet and stay away from over goal bets. Even 1-0 would be enough for Barcelona.

I hope this happens, Alaba has turned down a new contract offer from Bayern Munich. However, reportedly Barcelona and Manchester United are interested in signing him. The last news I read, the agent from Alaba has even spoken to Barca. But we know that Barca is going through a financial crisis, so I think it's still Manchester United who are Madrid's rivals. But Manchester United is not at UCL this time, so Madrid have more chances.
Both Barcelona and Real Madrid are in troubles with financial conditions and results in leagues. I don't see the reasons for Alaba to leave a strong club and join a troubling club without any big financial incentive. That I don't think Barcelona and Real Madrid will be able to give a good contract for Alaba.Manchester United has better conditions than Barcelona and Real Madrid. Really Alaba is still free? I thought that he was already agreed with Barcelona. In any case, is a very good addition to any team and just because he doesn't sign a new contract with Bayern, doesn't mean that Bayern "let him go".

Agreed with you Barcelona is not in superb form like before I also passing them to stake my amount them because of insane odds as compare with the performance which is really horrible. So that there are pretty low chances of them to make comeback with current game style they have to make new strategy to boost their confidence otherwise it becoming much harder for them to win the trophy of this season.
And still, somehow, against Athletic Bilbao, the bookies are only giving Barca 1.6x today, so strange, I mean we barely got past our last game, drew the previous, and still we're stacked as the clear favorites.

Yeah, it will be difficult game, Athletic looks really good at home and games at San Mames always been tough for Barca, even if there is no spectators. By the way, Athletic sacked manager after win against Elche, what is a bit weird decision. And they already appointed Marcelino as new manager. Usually, new manager in first game works as boost for the team.My expectations this sesson is so low that I wouldn't be disappointed if we will reach draw tomorrow.

Seeing ATM, Sevilla, Villareal...etc grabbing top spots a year or two then finding them in mid-table is normal and could happen but seeing Real Madrid or Barca struggling to win vs weak teams is shameful. The excuses based on good players/coach left, many old players..etc is unacceptable. You have a whole decade to find and recruit new players to replace the old one to keep your team in top, you have the money, attractiveness and power to do so at the opposite of the other teams! Of course there are tons of games left, and of course Barcelona and Real Madrid will play a lot better and will get a lot more points and they could even be champions, however I doubt ATM will make things easy, they are going to try to keep the position until the end.
