Agreed with you Barcelona is not in superb form like before I also passing them to stake my amount them because of insane odds as compare with the performance which is really horrible. So that there are pretty low chances of them to make comeback with current game style they have to make new strategy to boost their confidence otherwise it becoming much harder for them to win the trophy of this season.

Everyone call Barcelona playing horrible this year, and they were seen as one of the "bad" teams of the season, and everyone wanted to even sell Messi at some point to start all over again in order to get better in the future believing this is doing horrible. Look at the situation right now, Barcelona is 5th in the league, sure not a great place for Barcelona right?

Well, they have 16 games and 28 points, who is above them? Villareal, they have 17 games and only 29 points, one more point ahead, even with a tie Barcelona would be same points, with a win they are above them. Who is above Villareal you may ask? Real Sociedad, team that looked like they were at the top for a very long time, what is their situation? They have 18 games, two more than Barcelona, and only have 30 points, 2 more points, with one win Barcelona will be over, with even another loss, but with two wins Barcelona would be 4 points ahead. So long story short Barcelona is destined for third place already, I think they are fine.

It is not a small salary in a pandemic time when all football clubs (and all econonic branches) are coping with serious troubles. Bayern Munich has a healthy balance sheet but it does not mean their income is not affected by the pandemic. I can sympathize with what Alaba is thinking of, he is in his very golden time then slip-down time in his career so he want to take advantage of this time to get as highest salary as possible.

I am sure Bayern won't give him more because he is not a striker. Some oil-backed clubs like PSG, Manchester City can help Alaba to get highest salary. Barcelona and Real Madrid can give him too but they are weak in balance sheets.

true, it is not a surprise that they couldn't win against Cadiz, but they lost a lot of games and points, and they're now trying to survive in La liga, if they want to keep playing in La liga, they have to step up and teams like Cadiz, they were lucky to beat Real madrid 4-1 obviously.

Atletico Madrid beat Alaves 2-1 away yesterday. They were too dominant in the first half and they didn't give any chance for Alaves even to shoot. M. Llorente scored in the 41st minute and they finished the first half 1-0 ahead. In the second half, things were quite different. Laguardia got a red card in the 63rd minute and Alaves played the remaning minutes with 10 players. But they did whatever they can and scored in the 84th minute. After bringing the score to 1-1, they tried to keep the score like this to the end. But L. Suarez didn't let this happen and scored in the 90th minute and Atletico won. They are still the leader in the league.

Obviously Valencia are under a lot of pressure about their current position in the table which could fuel their poor form every game. The first half saw no goals scored by either team even though Valencia had almost 70% possession of the ball.

Look at that game and you will see that Valencia is very difficult to shoot on goal. So far they have only been recorded doing it once. Valencia must be able to take advantage of today's opportunities well to win the match so that they can get away from the relegation zone a little. There will be many questions if they lose today.

A little comment about yesterday's match. Barcelona won the LaLiga match again yesterday and it makes them closer to the top 3 of the standings. So far Barcelona has only played 16 games and that's less than several other teams such as Real Madrid, Real Sociedad, Villarreal. Valencia dominated the first half with over 70% but they didnt able to score a goal but i think if the match keep runing the same way i believe valencia can win this match and they must do it because they are in a very bad situation

True, I don’t understand why so far they don’t think about changing all the attacker and hiring others, Messi play very well, but they don’t have superpowers, if other players are not good he will be limited

Barcelona have different formation right now, Ronald Koeman looks playing with 3-5-2 as left and right back become most attacker and looks not the icon for Barcelona formation before with 4-3-3, maybe different formation give bad change how Barca playing right now with most difficulty to make more scoring goal each match, lately for Messi miss created goal for Barcelona with open play and almost Messi goal coming from penalty in this season. Barcelona managed to get the full three points during the visit to Huesca but Barca's front line is still very dull, can only score one goal at Huesca's home through De Jong and proves that so far the Barcelona attacker has had difficulties in scoring goals including Lionel Messi. Don't care how many players Barca is missing I would not put money on Huesca. Hell, even if Barca played with all the youngsters they should be good enough to take a point in game against Huesca. I like to think that I am an objective person and this game should be skipped when betting. There is many more games on offer today with clubs that should have more predictable performances than Barca.

I was torn between putting my money on Sociedad or Atletico Madrid today and decided on Sociedad. They looked good against Bilbao and hopefully they will start building winning streak today. Atletico Madrid has a great run and I am skipping them just because they have to slip up sooner or latter.

Good thing I'm not an objective person. But you were right as it turned out, 0-1, probably poor 1.4x odds to justify big betting. Happy of course to get the points without so many key players and the stats showed we dominated (didn't watch highlights yet so can't really know how the team played til later.

I'm def not objective when it comes to Barca but I'm trying not to bet on any game with them anymore.

So far, Real Madrid's performances can be said has been good enough, with 11 wins and only lost 3 times, Real Madrid is still in the race. Most likely the second match between Real Madrid and Atletico will be a crucial moment to fight for the champion seat.

For Barcelona, they actually still have a chance, but because their performance has not improved either, so their chances are smaller than Atletico and Real Madrid. Moreover, they are very dependent on Messi, so if in future matches Messi can not be able to play again because of injured or something else, then Barcelona's opportunity to win the league is very small.

Atletico has taken the lead after their 4th league win in a row. They still have 2 games in hand and so far look like the biggest contender.

It's still early to dismiss even Barcelona who is 10 points behind them - let alone Real, but this season is the best chance Atletico will probably have in the near future.
