It was quite an even game, and Sociedad really could have hung on for the few minutes remaining, but good point still.

It's was regardless an important outcome for Barcelona as that means they'd remain in the 2nd position, at least until the next game round.

Real Madrid will face Atletico Madrid in the next game round (weekend) while Barcelona will face Osasuna, a draw will be probably be in Barcelona's best interest as they'd get a chance to claim to points advantage over both teams.

For Barcelona fans everyone want to see Messi staying in the club till his retirement but the debt for the club is rising and it was reported last year that the debt is over a billion dollars and with the pandemic their plans on making the revenue has taken a hit as well as they miss the revenues from the stadium and with all these issues i wont be surprised if they trade Messi as they will be having issues paying his salary as well.

City group want Messi but Barcelona can extend his contract until 2023. I know Messi wants to go to US after 2023 because he wants to live there and his children to go to school in the US. But until that time he can stay with Barcelona and when the new chairman comes and makes Barcelona a competitive team again, there is no reason for Messi to leave. He's already the highest paid player in the world, his loyalty bonus is insane.

I agree Real Madrid played badly against Real Sociedad, Imagine 12 shots off target according to statistics showing Real Madrid's attacks are

I think draw is best result what Real could take from today's game. They played poor tonight and not deserved to win. Before round I said that I expect some favorites dropping points. Though, I more expected it from Atletico, not Real.

Yeah, Messi contract will expire this summer, so it's likely that he will leave Barca for free, like Suarez did. But still, I think there is little chance that he will stay and sign new contract. It depends on who will become Barcelona president.
I'm happy to read that Bartomeu was arrested. He did lot of bad things in all these years. Now he will have to respond. BTW, fomer president, Rossel, good friend of Bartomeu is already in jail for few years.

1 point for each team. Before the game, I knew Real Sociedad would make the game difficult for Madrid and also give them a run for their money. It turns out I wasn't wrong. With this draw, Zidane's guys just handed Atlético Madrid an opportunity to increase the points difference to 8 points when they play their outstanding match. Madrid has to do better than this if they want to stand a chance against Atletico. It's no longer funny seeing Madrid struggling against teams they should be thrashing at least 4-0.

Honestly I feel like this is "good" news for Barcelona because the reality is that the people who still work for Barcelona that did this will be sent to jail and cut all ties with the team and there were people like previous president who are no longer a part but did something so horrible as well.

All in all I would say people like Pique and Messi would be super happy about it, because they knew that they weren't hated and they saw all those posts and they felt bad about it and they wanted to leave, now that all the evil is taken out from the root of it, it is obvious that we are in a situation where we can safely say that we are going to see players feel awesome at this moment, they are going to feel very very happy about this, and they saw all those people in jail will make them super happy and play better as well, hell Messi may decide to stay after justice is done.
