Yeah, that true, I never see ronaldo playing solo, even when he dribling or solo run, its part of his skill. ~snip~
I am a Real Madrid fan and I always watch the team play and Ronaldo is there. I think he plays with the team, he is smart he can read the situation, he uses his skills to attract two to three players to get close and make space for other players but he is also capable of being an individual to score goals. So i think he is not individualy

Just a few minutes more, looks like Real Madrid are going to begin their title defense with goalless draw...
I had 1:1 prediction on Superbru, so draw wasn't big surprise for me. Though, it was difficult to expect goaless draw. Sociedad is going to be solid team this year, they have good and deep squad. Draw was fair score, Real didn't played their best football and it's understandable, it's just their first game this season.

Wow! That's an important 1.5 points you've got there, If had I saw the line up before the game began, I might have had a change of heart too.

At least, I made some money on the match, I took it live at around the 80th minute the Under 0.5 goals was at @ 1.59

As human, everyone has advantage and disadvantage. Although Messi is often the determinant of Barcelona victories, he is not always able to do his job well. He is absolutely the perfect player for Barcelona but he is getting old and his energy is not always stable. Hopefully this season Messi can still be the best player in the League. Looking forward to the first match for Barcelona versus Villareal next week.

Ronaldo is a lone wolf.

Messi is the leader of the wolf pack.

A lone wolf doesn't give af about what others think. He does it anyway. (look at all those bicycle kicks and other circus moves r7 did)

A wolfpack leader depends on the other pack members' abilities. If they suck, the pack dies from hunger. (like how Barcelona and Argentina did.)

Messi has many times won games for Barcelona by his own.
Even if the other players on the team are not of form and cannot score, such as Suarez, he got some chances on him and have Barcelona the win. I cannot say the same thing for Ronaldo. If the team is on bad form it would be hard for him to win a game by his own.
Messi won single-handed matches against weak teams. And not even one, but Ter Stegen helped him a lot. But against strong ones, Messi simply disappeared on the field. Just in recent years, Barcelona's victories are associated only with Messi, and for some reason he is not to blame for defeats.

Yeah, that true, I never see ronaldo playing solo, even when he dribling or solo run, its part of his skill. If someonesay if messi and ronaldo playing alone, maybe they need to check how many assist created by both of them. That the simple way, also may who say if they play alone, just count players on the field 😝

Ronaldo plays alone, and as have already said, he constantly shoots a penalty, so the statistics of the goals he scored are more than Messi...
Leonel plays technical and team soccer, and does not try to drag all the glory on himself!
Big NO. Ronaldo never plays alone, he cannot do it only by himself. He takes penalty shots because he is a confidence player and deserves as his penalty history. You don't deny that Messi also takes the penalty for his club. And both Messi and Ronaldo cannot win a match alone without other players. Please don't speak like a hater, be an honest boy!!

Scoring penalties is both easy and hard at the same time.

It is like one of these situations when you fight somebody that's a lot weaker than you. If you win against an old man, you beat an old man. If you lose, then you lost against an old man.

Everybody says it is easy to score goals shooting penalties but the history is full of players that missed their shoots.

If a player can't shoot a penalty properly, I believe he should have no place in today's football world anyway.
It is easy for players like Ronaldo, Jorginho, Balotelli, Ramos but even Ronaldo and Ramos had bad shots from penalty in their records. Ramos only improves his penalty-shot skills last 2 seasons.

To know how hard penalty task is, you can ask Messi, and some players in England, Lampard example.

To score from penalty, players have to have strong mentality first. And the skills, techniques are the secondary contributors to success or failures.

In this side, Ronaldo is much more successful than Messi. Cristiano Ronaldo scored 101 goals in 165 international appearances (from Wikipedia).
On the other hand, Lionel Messi scored 70 goals in 138 international appearances (from Wikipedia).

Messi gives more passes to his teammates. Ronaldo is more focused on goal than Messi. Perhaps this is the difference between the number of goals.

Also, Ronaldo has always been the penalty taker if I remember well, whereas Messi has only recently (relatively anyway) been given the same role in his team. Ronaldo is called Penaldo if you remember and yes, a goal is a goal, but when it comes to penalties, it's basically 80% a goal.

Messi is an assister, a scorer and a creator. I know I say this as a Barca fan but the statistics have been made and Messi really is more than an individual but a team player.

I don't know who is happier Bale, Zidane, Real Madrid or spurs.
Bale to move or exactly to return to Tottenham on loan which I find as the best option for everyone. We will see if he could add something to the club or not. source
Your comment seems a bit controversial, at first, it almost felt like he won't be missed but after reading the loan part, it felt like you've still got a string attached as concerns him living the team.
At times like this, a lot of us might seem to forget the contributions of the players to the team. Let's not forget Gareth Bale's phenomenal goal at the last two UEFA champions league game final. Gareth Bale is clearly a talented player and him living the team, I'm not so sure would be an edge to Real Madrid but I'm sure it will be for spurs.
Well no one can deny his contribution to Real Madrid during his first years but lately he wasn't in his best form + the awful relationship between him and Zidane made things very toxic in Madrid, without mentioning his childish reactions when his teammates were playing. So getting ride of him for 1 season is good for both sides, less money to spend for Real + for Bale, proving himself. For the loan part instead of selling him, well there will be a remaining year 2021/2022 for his contract with Real Madrid so the situation that year will depends from his performance in the current season and whether Zidane will remain for another year or not.

International games are different from leagues ones... In Europe tournaments qualifications for example there is plenty weak teams, way weaker than Portugal. At the opposite Conmebol teams are way better. Argentina squad weren't successful too in many games which made the gap bigger between CR7 and Messi.
The Argentina national team is much stronger than Portugal. If Ronaldo had the same teammates as Messi, I am sure he would become the world champion. And it cannot be said that there are so many weak teams in Europe.

That was exactly my point but according to the Messi fanboys Messi always has an excuse for being on the losing side while R7 is a natural born winner no matter what team he is playing in.

You either have the best of the best players in your team and add Messi on top of it and hope for the best because things may not go as you wanted them to be, or you just avoid Messi completely because it is just safer (and cheaper) to do so.

Surely a variation exists between these two (Lionel Messi and Christiano Ronaldo) that has set the odds for young talented players these days.
Despite the difference in tactics, what matters is result. Which ever tactics seems to produce desired results assures the team of three points and wins the game.
Lionel Messi's challenge in international games is his team mates as he is not able to coordinate and make him the reference point instead, he's team mates become his compitition. These is rather an advantage to Ronaldo being relied on by the entire Portugal team and his eyes for results knows no bounds.
