✅ Need Campaign Manager? TG > @TalkStar675
Barcelona also needs to change their long term strategy,  have to focus more on young players in the future.
They need new people in the management, new president etc
Their management was quite good for last couple of years. Specially their selection board did their best to keep Lionel Messi's magic alive by gathering all best players on their midfield but if i am not wrong then relationship between Barcelona management and Messi start to melt after FC Bayern Munich vs Barcelona match. Although i don't think its the only reason.

They should forget about Messi
Its not gonna be easy to forget him and his contribution soon. Yeah its true that football is not a single man game but when team Barcelona is looking for someone to take Messi's place then its pretty much easy to predict that they will have to suffer in some of their matches.

Omicron is another FUD
I don't know, loosing biggest stars of league is big deal, but I wouldn't call it degradation. Offcourse, if Barca will continue to fall after Messi will leave, it will be a big problem not for club only, but for whole league too. Few years ago I was sure that best football is played in La Liga, especially when Spanish clubs completely dominated in UEFA competitions. But now I don't see any their advantages against EPL.
believe, Barca will continue to survive even without Messi..  If Messi really has left Barca then it only takes a little adjustment time for the Barca coach to find the right mixture.  We are just too worried that Barca's performance will decrease if Messi leaves Barca but I'm sure it won't (Barca's achievements are ruined).

The captain is the last to leave the ship. But Messi, instead of forcing the management to make changes, simply leaves the team in a crisis. Great players don't do that. He'd better leave. And I think Barcelona will benefit from this.

I think that Messi did his best and helped Barcelona a lot in the past.
I think he gave more to Barca than he received back.
He is not married with them and have right to leave 😀
I feel that soon we will see great reunion between Messi and Pep 😆

Messi is a player of the same system. And this system was ideally created in Barcelona. He was lucky to get in at the right time. Barcelona had a golden generation of pupils. An excellent coach perfectly suited to the team. The second time this will not happen.
Whether it will happens or not, he has the right to choose his future. Playing with weak teammates will not make him better. Dealing with a mess of dozen problems with the Barca useless board will not make the team better.
Barca needs big change, in players and tactics. Without the necessary money, this will not be easy...

Barcelona also needs to change their long term strategy,  have to focus more on young players in the future.
They need new people in the management, new president etc
They should forget about Messi, sell him well and use money from him in smart way, for young and talented players.
It's time for new Barcelona. 😀
Everything change in life and obviously now is time for Barcelona to change everything and start over.

Young players will not give results immediately. Many need results now. Barcelona is lucky with the golden generation. There may not be a second chance like this. Or it will take too long.

Takefusa Kubo, I know he is from Japan. He and Takumi Minamino might be next proud of Asian players in Europe. They all have good forms in La Liga and Premier League.

Maybe they will be next Park Ji Sung, Son Heung Min, Hidetoshi Nakata, Shensuke Nakamura.
I think madrid are lucky to have a young Takefusa Kubo, I think he can be like Messi. He could be a new attraction for the Spanish League. He dribbles like Messi, the ball at his feet. Even though he was transferred to Vilareal, that would not hinder his career. Yes, Takefusa Kubo could be a new legend from Asia but there is still a long way to go for him to be a great young man.
Talking about the league schedule, I saw that there were no big clubs in the Spanish league in the first week. Meanwhile, Barca and Madrid rivalry will take place in the week seventh .

They choose a good coach for this plan, Koeman. He managed to rebuild the Netherlands' squad from zero and the youth squad is so strong. I am waiting to see how they will perform in the Europe 2021 (formerly is Europe 2020 but was postponed because of Covid-19).

Koeman also has his love for Barcelona so from all reasons I think he is good for the plan.

The rest part is how Barcelona's board allows Koeman to do all things to finish his plan. Let Messi goes with reasonable transfer fund back is best thing for Barcelona now. Have fund in hands to rebuild the club and won't make their fans too angry.

Dude, there’s nothing lucky about Messi’s rise to the very top. His story is about working harder & being more motivated than any other player for success.
No amount of hard work will make you Messi. He has so much talent to feed a generation of players. Messi is a godsend and a little work. Where would he be now if luck hadn't brought him to Barcelona.

Do you think that La Liga has been in its degradation phase like what happened with Bundesliga 2 decades ago or with Serie A last one decade?

I am actually quite disappointed with many of the biggest stars who left La Liga to move to other European leagues.
This makes La Liga look degradation, in contrast to the Premier League clubs which bring in the biggest stars every season.
Now two big teams like Barcelona and Real Madrid prefer to bring in young players rather than buying the biggest stars.
Hopefully before the 2020/2021 season transfer window closes, several big teams in La Liga can bring in some of the biggest stars.

It is too soon to judge anything but I won't feel strange if it happens next 2 or 3 seasons. It happens for all major leagues in Europe, from Premier League to Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1. In Ligue 1, do you remember what happened with Lyon? They dominated the league nearly one decade but now they won't be able to fight for the trophy last many seasons.

I think it is true, indeed the attraction between Ronaldo and Messi makes the Spanish League rating good, because they are two great players in two big clubs who have high competition. I once read an article that Ronaldo's departure to Juventus made the audience in the Spanish league smaller. When Messi left, I thought the Spanish League would lose its ten-year star in the Spanish league. But I think it's natural that every player has old age and the fans will lose them. I hope there will be a new star like Takefusa Kubo, I think he is like Messi.
Players have to grow from youth to super stars, then be older and lose their best forms and ratings. It is a cycle of life. Takefusa Kubo, I know he is from Japan. He and Takumi Minamino might be next proud of Asian players in Europe. They all have good forms in La Liga and Premier League.

I really hate to see how Barca behaving with Messi now. I understand that they are desperate want Messi to stay in Barcelona or at least get as much money as possible from this transfer. But at least they should show some respect for their greatest player of all time, no wonder that he wants to leave. This board probably will be remembered as the worst in Barcelona history.
People talked about the financial earnings that Messi can have in his last seasons but they forgot about the bad board members of Barca. The disagreement with Barca's board members began last few seasons and it has never been fixed comletely. The big defeat with Bayer only forces Messi to leave Barca sooner.
At the beginning of any negotiation both sides have maximum demands but in the end they usually find themselves halfway there.
In fact, there is unofficial information that the Barcelona management has been aware of Messi's decision for several weeks and that all this is a ''show for the public''.
It is obvious that all this has gone too far and that the time has come to talk and find the best solution for all.
It will probably be Messi's departure with appropriate compensation, but not the one that Barcelona is now asking for.
The greedy financial demand from Barca and La Liga hurt Messi and they will no longer be able to keep him at La Liga. The question now is how much the transfer of Messi will be and which club will be his destination (Manchester City as news and drama show)?

It seems to me that this latest news shows that Messi has definitely decided to leave Barcelona and will not change his decision:
''Lionel Messi hasn't turned up for PCR testing with the rest of the Barcelona squad on Sunday morning''
Also Messi has already stated that he no longer wants to train with the rest of the team.
Story is over.

Now it is time for Messi and Barca to find a best solution for their love story after more than 2 decades. If the release price rule is expired and not applied in the last year of their contract, I don't think there are any club readily to spend huge transfer fund for Messi. $100 still be an expensive price after what some big clubs sponsored from Middle East corporations get troubles, Manchester City, PSG and with the global economy crisis because of COVID-19.

$50 mil. or free transfer for Messi.  Huh

Barcelona should not prevent Messi from leaving, because it is useless to hold players who no longer want to stay.
If Barcelona continues to force Messi to stayed, it will be detrimental to both parties. I agree that Messi's transfer
value is very unreasonable in a pandemic like now. Barcelona shouldn't charge too much.

Barca then La Liga, they all cooperated together to try get as much money from the transfer of Messi as possible. Is it fair and respectful for one of their greatest legendary players in Barca's and La Liga's histories? What they reacted with the official burofax from Messi and drama show that Messi chose a good decision. I support him to leave Barca and La Liga ASAP. He contributed for them too much and at the end, they only want as highest money as possible.

I don't try to generalize all things but it seems from Barca to Real Madrid then La Liga, they don't show deep respect for their legendary players. It is different than Bundesliga or Serie A.

While I'm not surprised about La Liga actions and I even can understand them. Messi is biggest star of league who generate huge money for them. Nothing surprising that they want him to stay. La Liga lost Neymar and Ronaldo few years ago and it hurt them a lot. Loss of Messi would have huge negative financial impact for the league.

^^ Nothing is going to go worse.
Messi needs to leave as soon as possible for the shake of the club. Barcelona needs reform and with Messi on the squad this is impossible to happen.
If he leaves early the team is going to have more time to rebuild the team.

Messi has the decision to make/choose when he wants to leave Barcelona or if he is staying, I understand the fans and faithfuls emotions at this time.
But Messi shouldn't leave and if he must leave not at this time. Their is so much crises in Barcelona now that can stain a white robe reputation.
Messi is undoubted Barcelona greatest ever player, and it AI take take long or never forgotten, Messi is deserving of a statue in Barcelona a name craven/inscribed in Barcelona football club, if Messi should exist Barcelona it should be with a tearfully joy from Barcelona fans and football lovers not in leaving in crises.
Messi would leave if his mind is made up to leave but at this point Barcelona is in disarray/crisis, its would be beautiful Messi leaving with pride and a balanced ground -it could be next year or when the club is calm-.

Indeed, if Messi leaves Barcelona this season, things will get worse!!
Barcelona desperately needs to restructure the team. I don't think that pressuring Messi to stay will only make the club better, but other solutions must be found that effectively contribute to improving the situation Barcelona is currently going through. It is true that Messi has made good offers with the club that deserve all the appreciation from the club's fans, but at the moment he wants to leave, so the club must accept that.
