After ensuring victory over Barcelona 4-2, I really think Girona can end this season as runners up in La Liga for the first time in history. Of course there are still 3 more matches after today's match against Alaves, but in my opinion these 3 matches are no longer tough for Girona.

Villarreal, Valencia and Granada might make Girona lose points for the rest of the season, but Girona's good performance really helps them to appear consistent in every match. Girona is classified as a successful team this season, they have a record to be proud of even though they did not win the title. Qualifying for the Champions League is the dream of many teams, while Girona can almost guarantee it.

Girona's ongoing match against Alaves The first half was so funny. Girona scored their first goal in 4 minutes, and I was expecting many goals from them in that first half, but it couldn't happen, and the Alaves equalized back in 12 minutes. But with the powerful performance of Girona, they try to put in much more intensity and add another goal before the end of the first half.

Honestly there's big chance for Girona to win this match, but they have to be very careful. Because the way they take Alaves guaranteed, they have to be stronger when they come back from the second half, so that will add much pressure on Alaves. If not for the pattern of the game that they really want to play with the Girona, they might equalize back again.

Sport is inherently cruel, it is not a cooperative game where there can be several winners and when everyone can win. There are always winners and losers here, and I don't think any extraneous considerations will influence the outcome of this game. Real Madrid have already officially become the champions of La Liga, but I don’t think that this will stop them from winning against Granada, on the contrary, now they are in a great mood and I’m expecting a big victory for Real in this game.

Yeah I agree with you because that is the only way for Girona to last longer on the champions League because if they fail to get more good players they will likely end up not going far, however one thing they need to consider is that unlike the leagues they have played champions League is far higher than every other leagues because it comprises of all the strongest teams from each of the various local league, so for them to go far they seriously need to step up their game more by getting more better players.

However they are currently playing with Deportivo Alaves and so far they have shown an encouraging efforts on the match by scoring at the fourth minutes of the match before Deportivo Alaves equalized on the twelve minutes but Girona has managed to score another goal before the end of the first half making it 2:1 against Deportivo Alaves and from the way the match is going their is a big chance for Girona to win the match.

Yes you are right for Barcelona lagging behind this season in all competitions, but they should not be bothered about any financial  crisis because they already have people like lewandowski, Lamine Yamal, Gudogan, João Cancelo, Christensen and the rest playing in thier starting eleven. Already we are seeing good performance from the team and players, not exactly the best of them but we do expect a better results next season far much better than this season because I believe they must have mixed too well to understand themselves better in the field.

Although maintaining the same performance in many different seasons is not impossible for all teams, but Girona will probably never be the same as this season nor do they make significant improvements. They must be willing to spend a lot of budget to increase the depth of the squad, of course important players also need to be retained, including making loan players permanent.

Sávio, Pablo Torre, Yan Couto and Eric García are some of the loan players who have made a big contribution to Girona's game this season. Three of them seem highly expected to stay with Girona next season, but Torre doesn't seem too good. Sávio, Yan Couto and Eric García are Girona's three mainstays this season, so of course they must look to make them permanent to smooth out their game plan and ultimate targets next season.

The last weeks of the season games seems to be a walk over for Girona as they've in the first legs played to their best and have mastered rightly their strategies and the opposing team approaches, and so they've got better experience to countering the moves that'll be made.

 Of all seasons, asides the top teams like Atletico, Barcelona and Real Madrid, there's little or no heated contests to stay on top amongst average teams. Although their performances this season have been impressive but just as Villarreal who managed to get reasonable in the European contests and even Sevilla as well, this season, Sevilla is nowhere to be found in their usual league standings.

 The league is coming to an end and it’s already crowned it's champions to be Real Madrid especially after such remarkable season. Well Girona and Barcelona are the closest contenders but they weren't able to gather enough points to be able to challenge Real Madrid. ⁠The La Liga is pretty competitive but I think it revolves majorly around Real Madrid and Barcelona as other clubs tend not to be able to perform better than these 2 clubs. Well this all balls down to investment in football and if that’s done we’ll be able to see major competitions in the league.

You're right, Barcelona are lagging a lot this season due to the player crisis. Barcelona would have dominated La Liga if they had been able to acquire skilled players from the start of this season. But unfortunately this was not possible at the start of the season due to Barcelona's financial crisis. However, the current situation in Barcelona is much better. If Barcelona can continue with their consistency then good things can be expected for Barcelona.

It is very likely that Madrid will continue to try to get maximum points at home to Granada, or at least they will target a draw, and Madrid will definitely refuse to lose to a mediocre team like Granada. Ancelotti certainly doesn't want to increase their number of defeats this season, it would be a disgrace if they lost to Gradana, I think by fielding second tier players Madrid will still be able to appear dominant.

It's true, teams in the degradation zone will usually play more aggressively, they can act unexpectedly, and they can create surprises. But on paper, Granada chances of beating Madrid are quite low, it takes a lot of luck for Gradana to secure full points. Ancelotti will certainly rest a number of his mainstay players, and will give more time to the second tier players.

The remaining matches in the future are no longer important, because they no longer affect anything in the hunt for trophies, but to maintain the players mentality and self confidence, winning will remain a priority. Apart from that, for Granada, they need a miracle to survive in La Liga next season, apart from Madrid they also have to face Girona in the last match, and that has the potential to sink them in the red zone.

It is very possible that Girona can finish in the 2nd place. There are 4 remaining matches, no big matches anymore. Girona will play against Alaves, Villareal, Valencia, and Granada. In theory, those are just average teams, Girona won't have a problem to defeat them. If Girona can maintain their good performance like they were playing against Barcelona, I no doubt that Girona will finish as the runner-up this season. They are in the 2nd place now, they just need to keep winning until the end of the season.

For the next season, we don't need to discuss it now. However, I believe Girona can keep the good performance if their key players still stay in Girona. But if many of their key players move to other teams, Girona must be difficult to perform well like this season. Anyway, I also think Girona coach probably improves their squad with some new players. They seem need another good striker, Cristhian Stuani has been too old and often get injured. Girona also need new defenders to strengthen their defense line. For the midfielders, I think they don't need new players in this position.

Of course, Real Madrid also has the Champions League to think about and Real Madrid has already been able to win the La Liga. I think Real Madrid is going to lose this match. Granada is in the relegation zone right now. And I don’t think there is any way for them to actually avoid the relegation. And even though Real Madrid is not interested in La Liga matches at all, I think they are still not going to lose the matches that are left. At least not all of them. Hell Yes! This has also got to be their best season in La Liga Competition ever since they was promoted to the La Liga Competition. When every other top dogs should have competed with Real Madrid they fumbled, only Girona made the La Liga Competition during the first half of the season interesting to watch as well a competitive one for Real Madrid.

Seeing them qualifying for the Champions League Competition should be a boost for these underdogs that anything can be achieved if they work hard to get it. When I look at Girona, they always remind me of Leicester City in the Premier League Competition. It's just so hurting to see they didn't get to win nothing after a successful season.

Oh Malaga! But ever since they got relegated, they have struggled to find themselves back to the top. La Liga² has been such a difficult one for them. Likewise me, I barely get wins when I bet from that division. Lol.

Barcelona is on the third position right now and things are looking to get more and more harder for Barcelona as the days goes on.  The problem that was created by the ex-Barachan president Bartameu is still proving to be really hard for Barcelona to actually overcome. he was spending money by saying one thing that at that time Barcelona was earning more money than any other club in the world.

So he was spending money that the Barcelona club didn’t even have the hope that they would make that money back. But we all know what happened after that. Barcelona is still recovering from the situation that was created. And the recovery is going to take time. Thankfully Xavi is going to stay in Barcelona. And that is good for Barcelona because I do not think any other coach which Barcelona could have gotten would have been able to bring in better results or was actually going to be patient. Barcelona will still look to finish in the second position in this season. But now it is looking a lot harder. And Barcelona is definitely not going to achieve that if they keep making mistakes like they have been making in the defense recently.

At least, for today match against Alaves it is still possible for Girona to win because ofcourse, I think this will be a very goodmoment for Girona to win. Because anyway,the next two matchesGirona will play against Villarreal and Valencia, although Villarreal and Valencia position in the La Liga standing are not as good as Girona but still, that Villarreal and Valencia are not weak teams at all.Therefore,the matches against Alaves and also Granada at the end of this season are a great opportunity for Girona to keep gaining three points ofcourse, to keep competing withBarcelona to compete to finish as runnerup.

I think Girona players now do not think about the Champions League, because there is still a season in La Liga and Girona need to win all their matches to get ahead of Barcelona in the table and I think this is the main goal now, because no one knows who Girona will sell or buy. Maybe Girona can keep their leaders and buy good players and then the chances for next season will increase, but a lot will depend on the results of the next transfer window.

Now Alaves will host Girona and both clubs have 3 wins in a row and today for some team this winning streak will be broken.

Girona is having a good season and their football is getting better with every match. Of course, they have some shortcomings, but these are the shortcomings that big teams also have. We all know and appreciate the excitement Girona has brought to the league this season. I am also curious about their performance in the next matches.

In general, I can say that I feel more comfortable making predictions about what teams can do after the matches start. My predictions about the teams before the match started are not very accurate, but after watching the first 10 minutes of the match, I can make better predictions. In Girona matches, they usually show how eager they are in the first 10 minutes.

I do believe that Girona is doing quite well and they may have something different for the remainder of the season cooking as well. I am not saying that it is going to be simple or anything like that, but it does look like we are going to end up with something not so difficult to master neither.

I believe that the best thing we could do right now would be just making sure that we are dealing with something that could benefit everyone, if we could just bet on Girona to win all of their games. Sure there could be some game/s that they may fail to win, but I think that may not happen and they may end up winning all the games they will play. This is of course just a guess for me and I think it's quite obvious that we are going to end up with a good result eventually.

Okay, Girona's time for signing new players will be interesting. Having Dovbyk is a big deal on the one hand. That guy had a big season! If Atletico makes a good offer, though, a sale isnt the worst thing that could happen. Its tempting to cash out, but I like steady growth a lot. Put those funds back into young, hungry players to build for the future. You know thats real success, right? In the end, let us see what they do. Girona has the ability to make a lot of noise if they do this right
