Girona will undoubtedly qualify for the Champions League next season, and I am confident they will perform admirably, but they will not win the Champions League because even Leverkusen, who are in good form this season, will undoubtedly lose in the Champions League because they have better clubs in the competition that are stronger than them. Assessing the current difference between the two teams, it's absolutely obvious that the Spanish La Liga champions are clearly better than Barcelona and for Barcelona to be able to assemble a group of players that'll be strong enough to challenge Real Madrid in the nearest future, I think it'll take the club many more than three more transfer windows. Real Madrid is undisputedly the best Spanish team at the moment and I don't think there's anyone that's gonna stop in the next two seasons from being the best

I don't know. If think if you lose a whole generation that has dominated world football within 5-6 years, it's hard to see how a club would instantly fully recover from that. Real Madrid has done a better job, it is as simple as that. They have risked more with their transfers and got players like Bellingham and Vinicius Junior on board. Barcelona has some great talents, but when you compare both teams to me it seems that Real Madrid is more grown up despite having so many young players. Barcelona gets Lewandowski and Real Madrid gets a number 5 called Bellingham and the guy scores more goals in a season than Lewandowski does. Overall Lewandowksi has a few more scorer points, but still in my opinion Real Madrid is making the superior decisions.

Now the next transfer is being discussed, Mbappe. This type of player would never choose to go to Barcelona at the moment. But he would have 10 years ago when Barcelona was world class.

Actually no, I think there will definitely be a new hope where Girona are hoping to get back to a decent position next season especially after they had a good performance last season. But on the other hand it is also not as easy as turning the palm because in the end by looking at their current level actually this season when there is a tremendous improvement it only relies on performance and some luck where some big La Liga clubs like Barcelona and Atletico are not doing their job well this season so that indeed it makes them have the upper hand.

as @abhiseshakana said, in other words, Barcelona seemed to have no enthusiasm anymore after finishing the UCL match with a defeat because it seemed like they had no hope in La Liga and UCL.
so it is very likely that Barcelona thought that they would appear as is rather than having to chase runners up which is a bit difficult when they have to compete with Girona who have more perfect players.
I still believe in what I said if Barcelona is still able to maintain the runner up position, sometimes I also worry if Barcelona will really give up the runner up position to give it to Girona.

regarding Girona future in the next season, actually it all depends on how Girona management manages its players and if Girona keeps reliable players and only sells unproductive players, it is possible that Girona performance will remain fine, but if Girona thinks about money and choosing to sell several quality players, it looks like Girona will lose their performance like this season.

Becoming Girona will definitely be quite a dilemma because they actually need fresh funds while their players are at the peak of their performance and also while the transfer fee is still very expensive. That could make Girona stronger financially in the future and if they doubt they can't achieve the same as this season then they must be able to keep their key players.

I think there are times when a team like Girona can't refuse a big offer so they inevitably have to release their key players to other clubs. But if Girona's scouting team can find a good striker like Dovbyk then this problem can be resolved well. Besides, I believe they can manage all this well without having to lose anything that should be theirs.

The improvement in griona this season is very far from last seasons performance and I get to observe an improvement in their finishing and attacking pattern, they seem to have some more speed and creativity in the way they get to make moves around their attacks and striking which has been able to keep them at the position they are at this point a d it's  even  very clear especially when they play against Barcelona which happens to be a Big team that should be a problem to them although Barcelona has got a weak defense but then the ability of Giron to be able to penetrate the defense well enough to be able to get the number of goals they get is actually really an impressive one.

I'm hoping Barcelona gets a chance to be able to finish at the second position on the table by the end of the season because it's looking like they are not going to be able to achieve it as Girona is seriously fighting them to making sure to displace the to staying ahead of them by the end of the season and they have been able to bet barcwlyr this season even at Barcelona home so they feel they can actually contend Barcelona.

Girona is in high self-confidence now because they have confirmed their ticket to the Champions League next season, but in the remaining matches this season, the Girona team still has quite a big motivation to win the match, namely to maintain their 2nd position, it would be a big achievement for Girona if they managed to finish in 2nd place and now Girona's competition with Barcelona for 2nd place is still quite fierce.
