That is not how it works.  If the jury decides that the investors split up the assets there will be an executor that divides everything up.  Everyone will have to submit their claim by most likely signing an affidavit and proving you are the owner of the address that holds X number of shares to claim your piece of the pie.

Yeah...and who will contact ALL the shareholders ? And how ? Here ? Bargraphics ? Merlin ? Lawyers ?
Dream on....

They will take all the money and f**k the little shareholders...we are screwed...  Undecided

This.

One makes a lot of assumptions to get to the conclusion that brandon's lawsuit is good.

Brandon is out for one person.  If you seriously think this will play to your benefit, I've got a pile of lrm shares to sell you.

Fwiw, I don't wish the plaintiffs well in the case.  Brandon isnt being altruistic in his pursuit.  His intention no doubt is to get what he put in, plus, at the expense of everyone else.  If he prevails, we all get screwed with nothing, labrat might get seriously damaged, and brandon ends up with all of the chips.

Even if brandon doesnt prevail, we are all in a position of being far from breaking even.

We will learn more as the discovery process unfolds.  I'm sure the first things the lawyers will demand will be a list of assets and access to the books.  If Zach hasn't kept accurate records or has been mixing personal and business funds it will get ugly fast.

We've all been had. Best wishes to the plaintiffs in the case. Perhaps they can achieve justice here.

Not that I'm happy with the situation with LRM but the law suit was filed on the 26th of August so technically Labrat wasnt lying when he sent out the email at the end of July.

Problem still revolves around trust - even with the law suit filed after he sent that email itd be difficult to trust him not using the funds from the new sales to fuel the lawsuit given the lack of transparency of everything else...

I see, was my fault to accuse him for that...but still i feel goxed Cheesy

We're all goxed!

Hello elitenoob,

I'm about to launch the new site on which you will be able to purchase contracts direct via BitPay and I'm looking to secure additional funding for Dave's franchise program, Spondoolies at an unbeatable price, and I'm also looking into expanding into Scrypt depending on the opinion of contract holders.

My sale price for packs of 1000 contracts will be at 0.00425/ contract so it will save you a little based upon your bid on the contract purchase thread.  If you're interested please get back to me via email at [email protected] and I can arrange to sell you contracts direct before launch of the new site.  This will allow you to gain the benefits of 1 or 2 additional contract payouts before the site goes live.

Please do not share this info on the forums as it is going out with a proper announcement.

Thanks,
-Lab_Rat

Thank you for sharing this elitenoob. It's pretty damning.

Hodl!
Heh, he needs to come up with some catchy slogan for selling those better, like

"A quarter the power of an Ant s3 for only 4 times the price! Profitability that's hard to believe! The most unique value proposition in bitcoin mining today!"

Wait for a word from LabRat.

I poked him for a comment.  I wouldn't expect him to do much more than acknowledge the fact that the suit exists, though.  Even amateur internet lawyers know that if you are the focus of a lawsuit, you STFU and don't say anything about it.

It sucks, no way around it.  Hopefully it's over soon, with as little cost as possible.

grnbrg.
He could have mentioned the fact that a lawsuit exists before someone buys contacts/shares[whatever_you_may_call_it]

He Pmed me about buying shares and he actually liad to me because he never mentioned a lawsuit!

I am not proud to public private messages but well...

In all honesty I stopped trusting Zach a loooong time ago. It's been one scammy move after the other.  From the moment he started using our dividends for hardware reinvestment indefinitely beyond the 2 week period it became clear to me at least, that his plan was to create the largest possible mine for himself in the long term regardless of if we investors ever made any profit or even get close to ROI. Since all the hardware would inevitably end up as his own personal property he would at some point declare the operation to be no longer profitable and go on to live a nice rich life mining away with all the hardware we paid for.

I'm really not surprised that he is using our money to pay for the legal problems he created all by himself by behaving like a complete scam artist on several occasions. His answer to every problem he has is to steal our dividends. "You don't like the breach of the original contract? How about I steal your dividends until you accept the new one!"  Transparency? Yeah whatever. Communication? Yeah whatever. 2 week mining period? Yeah whatever.  Original contract? Yeah whatever. Moving shares to an exchange where they can be traded? Yeah whatever.

To be honest I hope these guys manage to win in court and take every piece of hardware we paid for away from his possession. That is if he hasn't already hidden away a portion of the hardware in a private pool the moment it was purchased or already stolen a large portion of the dividends which don't seem to add up. It's not like there is anyway for us to know. Is it wise to blindly have faith in some guy over the internet?  Sure I might make a tiny percentage of my investment back if he goes unpunished but I would rather lose that for the sake of justice. I would love to believe that all this was a result of honest mistakes on Zach's part but my logic doesn't permit that.

At this point there isn't a doubt in my mind that this is merely the result of greed.  Results speak for themselves. We didn't get the hashing power we were supposedly going to get. We no longer have rights as shareholders. We aren't able to trade our shares on an exchange. We just started not receiving the "discretionary" bonus. We are completely in the dark about everything an investor would normally be aware of regarding his/her investment.  BUT we are able to buy more contracts!!! Just give MORE money to Zach and expect nothing in return! It all adds up!

I think it's time to tell shareholders how this case came about Zach. I feel like if you are stopping bonus payments (even for one week or two here and there) then you owe people a thorough explanation after they trusted you.

Thank god i got $80 from my similar investment in Pbmining, there im at 75% ROI in about 3 months, 57 months of contract to go.. they just pay every week at the time it should, no more no less, just pay.

This lack of bonus is the kind of thing that *might* fly if there were any transparency in the operation.
As it is it's inexplicable and demonstrates that those of us who trusted you to pay bonuses honestly were in error. How are we to know how much is going to pay what? How much might be pocketed?

It's never too late to start Zach. Everybody has been clamoring for full transparency from the start. You have zero chance to sell new shares to anybody but the gullible if you don't open the kimono some.

Due to the circumstances you are all aware of at this point, unfortunately there will be no bonus paid out this week.  There were some increased expenses, which may occur periodically over the next couple of months.  I will try to keep these to a minimum.

Bonuses should continue as usual next week and it is still in the plans for the company to expand in the near future.
