1st lesson of the week 5-8 is definately stop loss. saved me alot today.
2nd lesson ... with those dark red market conditions look at the coins which outperform. XRP, XLM, QKC, XEM, EOS, just dont want to drop. they are my bulls for swinging and i will look for entries at pullbacks.

I'm having a fulltime job too and spend on average 2.5h in the car for that job on top. Just find your trading style according to your schedule. no need to follow crypto all the time. Btw the reason why iam posting at that time is i'm at home bcs both of my kids are sick

I'm btw happy of doing crypto just in my spare time. takes so much pressure of your shoulders to actually not to have earn money for living. you can take your time - focus on preserving your capital - and winnings will come sooner or later.
when you ask about my points of view regarding a coin, you would need to tell what time you are looking at. long time i cant give an opinion since i have no knowledge about fundeamentals.
Your question sounds like you are interested in long term. on the other hand you tell you are waiting for a break out. both coins managed that alrdy in my opinion.
The daily charts look good.
Xrp did alrdy have a good run and NEM just had 2 very nice days.
If XRP can break above 8500-8600 we can go to 9500 , above that 12000 can happen. For me the chart looks strong.
NEM: one of the few charts i like outthere.
if it can hold above 1700 its looking good. Above the last highs of 1950 i dont see any major resistance. also volume profile shows that till 2600 wasnt traded very much, so it can go quickly up.
short term NEM i would wait for consolidation. the daily candle may not developo nicely. it rejected pretty hard from 1950 and needs some time now. but it will be dfefinately on my watchlist for a break out trade
Good risk reward long term since for me below 1400 its dead.
Thank you for regularly posting your thoughts in crypto market I hope you can add your technical analysis on xrp and what's your thought of NEM? Currently holding both of coin and just waiting for break out. I hope I can do the same of what you are doing but I have my job to work with and no time to monitor crypto trading.

BAT got stopped out at 3742 for a loss of 4,3% or 0,02 btc
ZRX got stopped out at 9630 for a loss of 0,73% or - 0,004 btc ...at the moment trading 10% lower..

XRP amazingly strong.

ofcourse would have been nice to take some more gains on my last trade. but I'm happy to have stated to not short ripple since its too strong and also sticked to it. i suppose alot of trader were having some significant short losses.
since we are at strong resistance here i have no intention at all to long and think we will consolidate at least for a while....several days.

eventhough i just opened the zrx -trade, I decided to give an overview since the start, which was exactly 4 weeks ago.
all the trades are shown here:
After 3 weeks i was more or less break even but could finally make some good trades this last week which made me ending up with an overall profit of 0,365 btc.
It was obvious, as soon as the market moved (direction doesnt matter), the trading setups were working much better for me than in a sideways/low volume/ choppy market with random pump and dumps.
So actually i was happy ending up breaking even after 3 weeks.
I think that also shows one important thing: In times where the trades dont work very well - trade less, use smaller sizes - PRESERVE your capital. Then when the time comes, you have enough capital to actually risk some in trades where you know that your odds of winning are in your favour.
It is really bad when you spew away xx% of your account under bad market conditions which makes you not able to use the full potential of your account once the market changes. you end up sitting on scared money, not wanting to lose more which basically makes you winning just a fraction of what it could have been.
lets see how the next 4 weeks will turn out.

in case we really start here to 90+ i keep the rest in. iam also expecting there are alot of shorts in ripple right now and want to get squeezed out
never the less. stop loss for the rest to 8679 - so worst case i will get stopped out break even with the rest
