L3+ is coming to the doorstop Era  Grin Grin Grin

I've had mine for around 8 months and it took me a little over 2 months to get my money back.

 Grin

How is that possible?

at one time you could make close to 40 a day with one miner then it went down to 20 and when they first came out i think it was even more .

Much lower scrypt difficulty, LTC price a lot better

I see the chart and it has gone up from 5.7 to 7.3 in a month?

Bitcoin FTW!

the real question is if/when bitmain MAY toss the supposed 1.5gh 1,300-watt units and mine them over the summer

I suspect they have already deployed initial units to Hashnest to start replacing L3 / L3+ units there, but it was probably a small batch mostly for engineering/testing purposes to validate the design and to get the software calibrated.

Speaking of hashnest.. I hope they re up the stock of the miners (or for new miners) sometime!
There's been no miner release since the L3+ IIRC on Hashnest, and nothing much has been happening there as of late, never mind miner restocks. It's a shame they price their units so high compared to buying directly from the Bitmain shop while they're for sale usually- it's a pretty big premium to pay for cloud mining, but at the very least they're reputable.

Or search for latest blissz firmware.
Easy overclocking and lower power usage.

I am at 570mhz and still 800watt

Can you tell me your frequenzy as well as voltage?

I tried to tweak around but it did not make a lot of change to it. My one miner is running again (bitmains firmware suddenly stoped working and a re-flash did nothing)

Bu I get 900W or so at the same Mh output

What "Hardware Version" are you on from the System/Overview screen?  I was just looking at mine and realized one of the newer machines I got is at 1.0.1.3 where my original (batch 2 I think) from May 2017 is 1.0.1.1.  The thing I noticed is that the newer machine is running at chip temps of ~48-50 and the older machine is running at chip temps of 60-63.  Both are set at the same out of the box frequency.  Made me wonder if my newer box already is a L3++ and has plenty of room to over clock.  Will be interesting to see the hardware version on the new ones and what the frequency is set to.

They have basically overclocked it a bit, something most people do anyway as the l3+ is a great overclocker

L3++ factory overclocked L3+ ?

Mine does 15% happily, maybe I should eBay it as an L3++ ?  Grin
Is overclocking easily done?  Are there instructions on how to do this floating around out there that someone would be able to share? I’ve looked but without success.

Simply change the frequency under (Miner Configuration -> Advanced settings). Higher frequency = higher hashing speed and higher power usage.

price increased  Roll Eyes 606 now

Notice the L3++, this one may produce sligthly more or be more effective.
No....no it doesn't. Just more Bitmain trickery and deception. They are desperate to clear the legacy Technology from their buildings. Their mining ops are moving to Canada and the US and they don't want to pack all that shit up. They also need room on their shelves for the newer technology units that they will screw us over on next. I can't wait until July or August when they announce the newer Scrypt and SHA256 units and all us guppies eat each other's tails begging and scrapping to get one or two units, while Bitmain sells 1000's behind our backs to large corporate mining businesses in back room deals. Same shit....different flies. When Bitmain opens their Mining here in Washington State, I hope some Eco-terrorists blow the place to Kingdom Come.

Lol. Eco-terrorists probably have bigger fish to fry than little old bitmain. At the very least bitmain is also invested in future AI technology for making life easier.

I hate bitmain too but if they blew up all cryptocurrencies value would probably sink because of all the FUD media will start selling.
Those ignorant idiots have the time to pound nails into trees at logging sites, String wire across mountain bike trails, pour fake oil spills on business properties they don't like. Once the find out these huge mining farms are using enough electricity to power an entire town, trust me they'll have time. I'll keep reminding them.

It has the same specs though. I think the extra + refers to price haha

Under notes on the L3++ page, "Specifications of L3++ maybe slightly higher than L3+. ".

Maybe just overclocked a bit?  and you can't use a coupon over $300

Yep just confirmed this with their support

(02:33:30 AM) Mo20: What's higher exactly, hashing speed?
(02:33:30 AM) Yucheng: just nuance of the hash rate
(02:33:41 AM) Yucheng: yes

So did they tell you what is the hashrate for extra "+" ?? i guess in my country here if we do massage ask for "++" it means ask for xxx lol... Grin Grin

No they didn't. I'm assuming it's an overclocked L3+.
