My L3+ is connected and running at a data center and I have the IP address but can’t connect to the miner. What port should I be trying to connect to? Thanks

Normally a miner in a colocation needs to be set on a static IP in your case the IP the colo is giving you.

No need to work with ports to setup a miner. Just IP and Gate and DNS

And every good colo, gives customers a web interface to log into the IP. I think you need to ask them about that

So I talked to colo. They haven't touched the miner and it is in the same spot connected as it has been for the past month+. I have been able to connect to the miner remotely through the IP without any issues for this past month. But for some reason now I can't get the IP address to load anything. The colo confirmed the static IP address is the same and hasn't changed. I can ping the IP address fine, and it is hashing away in the mining pool. Any ideas?

Just got my mining operation set up, going to make a post later tonight. I may have cried a little when I got the first miner fired up and shit just... worked... like a mother giving birth after months of hard work, same thing right?

I love the sound when these fans spin up at 100% when they boot. Gives me goosebumps.

Me too Smiley

Here is my thread by the way. If you're into the hardware side of things it should get you excited, it was a lot of fun to build my mining operation, but also very stressful lol.

Hey guys!

If any one is interested in buying miners (Bitmain's) and start use it remotely in 1-2 days - PM or [email protected].

I'm now living in China, Shenzhen - City where Bitmain manufacturing they asics. We offer place to put Your asics near Shenzhen city with low energy cost and in if will be some damage problems - it will takes few days to sent them for repair. Also we have additional plates so it can take 1 days for repair only.

It's kind tricky to buy miners and wait such a long time and then if something happens sent them back and loose money. GPU mining for that. As we all know ASIC's are not the most reliable hardware in earth.

PM or email - more details and prices.

Have a nice day!

its just 2cents in Siberia. Why bother with China? 6 months cool weather.
Plus u can heat your home with L3+, while making lots of dollars.

if you correctly cool your miner, no worries about issues of HW failure.

Go and find a job scammer, you are really so funny, of course we will send to a newbie account all our money, without warranties, without any proof of existence, without any picture, without a webpage dedicated for

that, damn, you are the most lazy scammer ever.

No way to know if you're legit or not guys.
There were many offers like this in the past, but who and how can guarantee you wont just take the equipment and disappear?
I'm sorry to say so, but that is the reality.

I operate two D3's on one APW5.
The power supply stays very cool, it has a good power efficiency.

Looks like I was sent a bunch of APW5's instead of APW3++'s. I guess it's considered a free upgrade because it supposedly can handle much more than the 1600W that the APW3++ can.

I seriously have never heard APW5 until i googled it... Why dont they just call it APW3++ how its supposed to be called?

Anyhow, I would also just run 1 miner per PSU. They are so cheap and reliable that it does not make a huge difference. In case one PSU cracks down you can still cover with the second one both miners.

That's very nice!

Again, imho, I'd only run ONE PSU of any Bitmain flavor to ONE ASIC device....why chance it? Better safe than sorry. Anyway, my advice on PSU's blowing up since 2013 (its a gift) Smiley

Hi guys! What about daily earning from 1 L3+? on ltc or multipool
Nicehash   1 DAY
Income   0.00326750 BTC 20.01 USD
El. costs   -0.00031135 BTC -1.91 USD
Profit   0.00295615 BTC 18.10 USD

I am running 9 currently and I average 0.02867343    for the last 3 days which is 0.0031859366666667 btc ber miner so

0.0031859366666667 * 6,000usd = $19.11

I got the same email saying about the PSU APW++ bla blaa... and they give me $50 coupon for the trouble... does't that mean my miner gonna come without power supply??? or they will replace by other model? do I have to re place a new order for the PSU? One more thing is that, I've been trying to access my account @bitmain.com but the website is fucked up now, layout is messed up! Anybody can login normally? thanks cunts  Wink

I also noticed this connectivity problem with nicehash...
It is switching 7-8 times / day to the second pool of the miner...
hopefully they will fix it soon

Exactly.

Can we contact anybody about that?
Do they have a representative on the forum?
