Mining is inherently risky in itself anyways, a reason why a lot of people with even cheap electricity just opt for straight up HODLing or small volume trading. Scalping is also why I try to buy one of each new Bitmain product each time one comes out- you can make quite a lot that way 
Yep, scalping is how old timers make money nowadays. I tried to warn people of overpriced miners way before the drop, but no one would listen. 4k for L3+, then 4.5k, then 5k. finally I said fuck it and sold 20 of my July batch for 4k each. Now the price drop and people are pissed. They forgot how much they thanked me when I sold my miners to them. They told me I just made them rich, And that they are gonna buy nice things for their families..........sigh.........the hubris is unbelieveable.
No one is pissed that the prices dropped. It's simply the nature of crypto. Just because it's down today doesn't mean it won't be up tomorrow. The only people that should be pissed are the people that couldnt and/or can't get their hands on an L3+.
