Does any of you guys use some kind of vortex fans to remove the heat from L3+s.

I have a similar space as this guy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=317wqakIKx8&t but I cannot figure out how it works for him. He has 7 S9s outputting 250 CFM into 6" duct with Vortex fan pushing only 1140 CFM. 7 S9s output 1,750 CFM of hot air. How that Vortex fan and only 6" duct can handle it?

Thank you in advance.

Started a new topic about cooling here too: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/best-asic-miner-l3-d3-s9-etc-cooling-setups-2191681

Mods just took a shit on your thread. BTW where are you getting the electricity to run that much hardware in a 80 sqft space??

I saw that. Whatever he says there is not 1 place for all cooling setups. I looked for it, did not find. You can look though all the old threads but that's scattered all over the place.

Regarding the power - I got 240A 220V power installed, the problem is the cooling. Didn't realize how much hot air these miners output.

1. No, zpool does not mine LTC, so don't try to get payouts in LTC.

2. The payout per 1 L3+ thats NOT OVERCLOCKED is around 0.006-0.007btc perday depending on the day and your luck in finding blocks.

So the bad news is that Ni OW doesn't understand that 0.011btc is actually per/Gh or he's lying out his ass / or he somehow got an L3+ to go 700MH.

ps: I have L3+ on Prohashing, Nicehash, zpool, hash-to-coin and f2pool.

The most consistent but crap payout is f2pool.

The best payout and consistent is Nicehash

Hash-to-coin is You + god/luck or whatever = Yay! alot of money

zpool = Nicehash but with less fees = a little more pay (like 5-10%)

prohashing = fuck you and everyone that you love, we'll do whatever we want, you're making money aren't you? be Happy we're only charging you 5%

editted: I lost a 0, thanks for the pm!

calm down, cowboy

https://www.litecoinpool.org/ - I don't understand why we don't have more hashpower! we're nice to everyone and give great payouts! (hint,
your website looks like its from 1995)

https://www.coinotron.com  - Litecoinpool but from 2005 instead of 1995
https://ltc.suprnova.cc/ - the pool to use because you're too lazy to find another one and just came from GPU mining

Well, to be honest... I'll take litecoinpool's site over prohashing, nicehash and most of the others every day. It's very clear, readable and does an excellent job on telling me what I want to know!

agreed, who the fuck care if the page looks from 80's???
only retard hate it. u go for nice designed page but with fucked up payment, missing hash count, delayed payment etc.

Guys can I connect evga 1300 with 6 pci-e connectors to L3+. I mean 1 connector per blade?

thanks for answer

you need 9 pcie connectors for L3+ no?

why not this below instead of ATX PSU?

http://www.parallelminer.com/product/hp-1200w-94power-supply-psu-9-pci-e-14awg-breakout-kit-for-antminer-l3-plus/

Grin maybe because is SOLD OUT at this moment ?  Grin

LOL.... yeah.... you can buy the APM one from Bitmain too.... that sold out too?

I host my L3+s with my ISP and I dont buy the PSU... but rent from them - they know best how to power them ... I want to avoid any headaches from the PSUs.

If you are home mining then that's another story  Grin

Rule of thumb.... don't get cheap on PSUs -- its connected to an expensive investment.

After looking around the web, Zpool has a lot of bad press out there and they are not considered very trustworthy. I've never used it, but when I read that I stay away. Not just a story or two, but a LOT of stories. No Zpool for me. There are many "dirty tricks" pool operators can play to cheat the miners. No way you can detect them. Must have trust.

You may be referring to this ANN:

Affirmative. That's one of many.

I have 2 unit on nicehash and 2 on prohashing, in my mind nicehash is better,
how do you think which one is better?
thanks

I tried Prohashing several times this week with only one L3+. My connection to the pool always disconnects around 3AM EST. Doesn't seem too reliable. Never had any problems with Nicehash.

I agree. I try to get as "educated" on a topic before jumping in head first. Find all the negative information and the good will take care of itself. You never know who you can trust...

Hello guys, who is mining LTC in prohashing ?  coin mined (effectively) is  3,18 Cents $ per 1 MHs/ (its variable of course) , that means    1602,72 cents $ per day with L3+ (504 MHs).... its 16,02 $ / day ....or 0,3050 coin mined...... you got 0,60 coin mined in  zpool  Huh?

P.D. Do you recommend AntPool  Huh

thank you

that number fluctuates a lot. it can go from 3c to 6c within seconds and come back down.

Besides that, why is everyone hating on Nicehash lol?

Yes, tehy charge us a fee, but who cares as long as our payouts are higher than let's say litecoinpool? I tested Zpool, NH, prohashing and litecoinpool.

The most stable are for sure litecoinpool and even though a lot of people complain that they merge mine and it looks old, the payout is stable and the real-life data is one of the fastest refreshing.

Nicehash is just as easy but a tiny bit more profitable.

Prohashing is so bad I can't even begin to describe it. The real life data is shit, the look also, the charts are all broken. The calculator for electricity should be so simple if you enter your stats but it tells me I get 20 cents of cost instead of 10+$ lol

Zpool is not as profitable as the calculator tells you. It's also not that stable.

2 hours of single L3+ running.
Profit: 0.00063164 BTC
so assume linear rate, that translate to 0.00757968 BTC/day or $30/day, more than PROhasing is giving out.

2 hours is so early to test how much you earn. I think you have to test 24 hours. It will give you a good result how much you earn

It depends on the miner guys. You have to understand, we are dealing with a bandwidth issue, especially since most Scrypt coins have very low block time. This means that each and every one of us will have to use a pool that has the lowest latency to us. Have I said too much? maybe, but  fuck it, I'm feeling generous today
