Anyone that gets their L3+ September 21-30 batch order shipped please let us know here - Thx.
Not yet. Ordered mine on July 6th, waiting for shipping confirmation. Hope it's tomorrow and not the 30th!

Received my order this morning.

Like UPS came by!? No........ I'm so jealous. You must have paid in crypto rather than wire transfer. It must be first paid first ship so while they took time to confirm I got lower on the list Tongue

Paste your tracking No. I cant wait to get mine!
Still haven't gotten marked "shipping" or "shipping" on a Sept 13-20 batch. Bitmain's so FUBAR.

Wait so they aren't finished with prev batch yet? I'm confused I was under the impression - btcapollo - was a late Sept. batch delivery. That would really suck if they are behind I'm really anticipating mine.

Still no word on my Sept 21st to 30th batch.  I'm thinking it's going to be more towards the 30th.

This is what I received from bitmain zendesk that is in Colorado.

Hello,

For L3+ miners our repair facility has not yet started accepting those repairs. You will have to contact BITMAIN in Hong Kong for those repairs!

Thank you

On the repair ticket I just submitted it listed California as the repair site.
Very confusing...

What happened? I want to buy this machine and i heard this machines better than gpu but warranty is 180 days and you have problem with this machine please tell me what happened?

Ouch. I guess they only do the S9 tier of miners.

That Corsair fan will probably CAUSE overheating - it's not designed for high backflow situations like an S9/D3/L3+/S7 present to a fan, and it's MUCH LOWER airflow to start with than the stock Delta fans.

That's dumb... makes me want to contact them to get an estimate of when they'll start.

A hash board on my L3+ has failed, Has anybody had any luck getting a new hash board from them in any timely manner?

Or from the repair facility in the US, I would be curious to know as well.

How can i reduce the noise?

does the L3+ really work with 75 db?

i have no garage, i will use a room which is inhabited, but the neighbour have their bedroom under this room...

i read that the fans are not so noisy, its more the air which is sent out...

how can i reduce the noise?

I start to mine with the L3+ tomorrow...

and i want to build up a "Little Home Farm" with 5-10 pieces of L3+ Miners...

My Mathematics is good (so don´t talk with me about the costs Smiley)

I just need good tipps for the noise of 75 db...  Huh

Stick with the stock vents. They are running good. You can only mess something up.

For noise, I have seen people put them in cooling boxes with holes in the side to extract the hot air.

I would however not stress it too much and search for a colo

Electrical engineer. Mining since 2014.
Fans are not the biggest problem for the howling noise with the L3+.

It's mostly because of the heat sink setup.

I would stick with the stock fans.

From what I understand the pitch can be heard very well through drywall. I would try putting sound proof foam around it but so as to not impede the smooth airflow the miner needs.

Another option I've seen done will not likely void your warranty: Removing the stock fans and putting silent ones in like these

are you sure that this fan works?
I want to buy but I am not sure if it works.

Be careful, that fans runs at 1600 rpm, miners needs up to 4000 rpm sometimes.

You will most likely need to vent the fans out a window to reduce some of the noise.  That will also help with the incredible heat your going to be dealing with if you have 5-10 of these in a small space.  Sadly there isn't an easy solution for the noise or the heat.  You may want to consider trying to find a hosting location for your aspiring farm.
