I get what you are saying but that's not the total equation. Price of the unit/ price of the coins under that algo/ etc all factor in to but the major variable, price of underlying crypto is always a mystery so make a best guess and go for it. Good luck

another thing to note is bitmain tends to have these miners available on the cinese version of the site and at 3-$500 more than the us version. when the us site sold out the chinese site had them available still but they only ship to china. i dont know why they wont limit the number per order again. things went south when they allowed as many to be ordered as you wanted to buy. in this case though its looking like me not being able to buy the last 3 times was a good thing. the price per machine went way up but now the price per ltc dropped quite a bit now that chinese exchanges r closing down. im sure there will be a massive sell off when the end of the month comes closer which will drive the price even lower.

No, I did not purchase. Just want to be prepared in case I do.

FedEx will hold your package when it comes to US until you give them your tax ID or SS# for customs, then they will release it and send you the bill. if you give those to Bitmain they will add it to your shipping invoice for FedEx right away (I would ignore this part and give it directly to FedEx).

If you're new here, it means that they sell out nearly instantly because so many people are trying to get their hands on them. It means that unless you want to pay a ridiculously high price at places like Amazon or Ebay, you need to get lucky and get your hands on some directly from Bitmain as soon as they come available.

Litecoin (and the other Scrypt coins) have a TON more total network hashrate as measured in L3+ units (or A4+ or L21) than DASH does in D3 units.

Diff will get worse - but not nearly as fast or as bad.

Also keep in mind that a bunch of L3+ batches have already been DELIVERED over the last several months it's been available (along with several batches of A4 miners) - we're still waiting on the D3 first batch to land, the X11 jump the past month has been all about IBeLink and Pinidea.

Nobody wants the D3 (and few want the L3+) right now because profitability has CRASHED by about half just in the last week - and that's BEFORE the massive hashrate jump on X11 of late October hits....

I still dont get it, yesterday everyone hype on D3 and angry for bitmain website down and cant make order. And then D3 is open again and until now its still open, why no one order it ?
Even if you have to pay with usd only, it still easy and worth to order it right ? Except there would be new miner released..

Opportunistic corporate mentality at its finest.

Was hoping to convert some fiat to crytpo to buy cheap but they saw to that option.
